Anecdotes that happened in Fusui, Guangxi

Tong Haiting, a farmer in Nanqing Village, Liuqiao Township, has five sons, all of whom have established families and started cooking. From August 1977 to July 1981, there were more than seventy fires in the five brothers' homes in four years, which was really strange and strange.

Sometimes thick smoke and fire. One night in February 1980, the third son, Tong Huamin's family, was eating dinner in the kitchen, when they suddenly found a fire in the bedroom, opened the door and looked at it, only to see that the bed was burning, the mosquito net had been burned, and the folded quilt was also half burned.

Sometimes smokeless and lightless, spontaneous combustion and self-extinguishing, clothing is mostly burned into several holes as large as a bowl mouth and as small as a finger. One night in April 1979, the wife of the fourth son, Tong Huawu, was sitting in front of the house peeling sugarcane leaves, when she suddenly heard a "crackling" sound, she looked up and found that a piece of clothing on a bamboo pole in the courtyard had been burned and fell to the ground. One afternoon in June of the same year, Tong Huamin returned home from work and went into his bedroom to find that the mosquito net hanging on the bed had been burned through six or seven holes as large as bowls.

Sometimes the clothes in the box are also burned. At about 10:00 p.m. on April 26, 1981, when Tong Huamin was asleep, he smelled the stench of burning cloth, checked everywhere and found no signs, and then touched the outside of the wooden box with his hand and felt hot. When the lock was opened, smoke billowed from the box, and the winter coats that had been stored had been burned in half. Only the mosquito net given to him by his cousin was intact.

Sometimes I went to bed, but my clothes were still burning. In November 1979, the eldest son, Tong Huaying, and his wife, in order to prevent the recurrence of such fires, specially moved their bed frames, together with quilts, mosquito nets, and clothes, to the aunt's house in the same village, and slept in the same room (the two beds were about a foot apart). At five o'clock one afternoon, Tong Huaying's bed suddenly caught fire again, and all his clothes, mosquito nets, and quilts were burned down. But not only was his aunt's bed not burned, but one of the clothes that his aunt hung on his bed frame was intact.

This strange phenomenon sometimes happens before people's eyes. In May 1981, before Tong Huamin's wife left for early work, she dressed a seven-year-old boy in a good dress, returned home at noon, and found that the child's clothes had been burned with an egg-sized hole. She asked when the child would be burned and replied "I don't know." Sometimes people sleep in beds, and the mosquito net is suddenly burned with several large holes. The damage to this family was severe due to the fire. The cause of the fire plague remains to be unraveled by the scientific and technological community.

   Monkey child

In the 26th year of the Republic of China (1937), a woman in Cen Fan Village, SuizhuAn County, gave birth to a male baby, with complete limbs and facial features, but the head was particularly small, the arms and legs were emaciated and less fleshy, and the muscles of various parts were not developed; the back ridge was slightly hunched, the head was often tilted, the eyes loved to look upwards, the cheeks were sharp like an inverted triangle, and the face shape was very similar to that of an ape, so people called it "monkey."

This monkey child can not speak until the age of seventeen or eighteen, is thin, has no obvious difference in daily behavior from apes, often urinates and in bed, cannot take care of himself, and needs adults to make gestures before they can dress and eat. The family is disgusted with it, and the parents also think that the child does not look like a person, and is deeply afraid of harming his life. He lured him up the hill and pushed him off a cliff to death. Later, his father was sentenced for this.

One triplet was born in another place

In The village of Dada, Dongmen Township, a woman gave birth to a woman and two men in three different locations in December 1972. It's rare and surprising.

One day, the mother suddenly had abdominal pain and could not travel far, so she gave birth to a baby girl at home. Less than half an hour after giving birth, her abdomen was severely painful, so the family escorted her and the baby girl to the obstetrics and gynecology department of the county hospital for examination, and as a result, another baby boy was born; but the mother still cried out for abdominal pain, and the county hospital sent her and the two babies to Nanning for admission to the hospital for examination. As a result, shortly after being hospitalized, another baby boy was born. After giving birth, the woman is in good health as usual. The three babies, who are also developing normally, have enrolled in school at the age of eight and have good intelligence.

   Flocks of butterflies fly south

In April 1948, around the Qingming Festival, over the two townships of Kangshan and Keqiang (present-day Middle East, Bottle Mountain, Jiuhe, and Siping Villages) to which Tongzheng County belonged, there were countless white butterfly swarms, organized into many horizontal formations, flying from north to south one after another for four or five days.

In April 1981, over the county seat of Fusui County, Changping, Quli, and other areas, it was suddenly found that there were batches and groups of white butterflies, lined up in columns, flying from north to southwest, for two or three days and nights.

   Old Woman Head "Horn"

In Pingtan Village, Dongmen Town, an old woman of ninety years old in the Liu family, suddenly grew a pair of symmetrical "horns" on the corners of the eyes on both sides of the forehead in 1976. The "horns" are fleshy, each inch long, as large as a thumb, soft in texture, and the tip is slightly downward. When you are born, you have a painful itch, so you often scratch it with your fingers, and the result is that the scratching becomes longer and longer. After being surgically removed by the doctor, it was cut twice, both of which were ineffective, and continued to grow after cutting.

Is this a "horn" or a sarcoma? Until the death of the old woman in 1980, no conclusions were reached.
