One of the screen paintings of "Pine Forest Diagram" Partial

Hasegawa (1539-1610), a native of Nanao Castle in Hokuriku, Japan, and the founder of the Hasegawa school of painting, lived through the late Muromachi period, the Azuchi-Momoyama period, and the early Edo period. Capable of painting Buddhist paintings and figures, Shanshui was deeply influenced by snow boats and called himself "Snow Boat V", and in 1603 he was awarded the honorary position of "Hobashi" by the imperial family, and he has the legacy of Japan's first painting theory work" "Wait for Bo Painting Theory". There are two styles of painting: bold and majestic, learning the heavy colors of the local hunting school; simple and dull, learning the Zen ink of Chinese Muxi.

"Pine Forest Diagram" screen painting no. 2 Part

As a national treasure of Japan, the "Pine Forest Map" is a pair of six screens, painting the pine forest snow mountain in ink, the picture is minimalist, and the pine trees are straight or obliquely staggered, which is very strong and charming. The pine forest, shrouded in snow and fog, gradually disappears from the front to the back. The whole painting is a little better than a lot, the visual effect is excellent, the viewer can even feel the humidity and coldness of the air, both the ethereal dilution of the Chinese Zen landscape, and the lonely cold and thin aesthetic of the local Tuo lonely. At the time of creation, his friend Chiritsu committed suicide by angering Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and his sister-in-law Hasegawa Hisazo also died. The painting seems to be reflecting and thinking of the dead, with the mournful taste of "flowers floating from zero water and flowing by themselves", which is hard and unforgettable.
