Guiduo itself has nothing to introduce, all watch friends know that this is the top of seiko's existence, Guiduo and GS are representatives of Oriental watchmaking, today we mainly talk about the 4S79A movement carried by this Guiduo, which is a starting point for the modern revival of Seiko that witnessed history. In 1999, one of Guido's watches, GBAY996, a watch carrying the 4S79 movement, was officially certified by Switzerland, becoming the first Japanese watch with the observatory logo, allowing Seiko to ascend to the status of international watches at a speed of 20 years. It is a symbol of Seiko's modern renaissance.

Calibre 4S79A itself is derived from history the Seiko 52 series movement. The 4S79 is similar in design to the 4S29, although it has two additional diamonds as well as a more premium finish and an error of -10/+15 seconds per day. The 4S79 model is the only time in the history of modern Seiko that has been certified and signed by the Observatory. Thanks to its complex features, the movement has an unusual appearance: a small second hand at 6:00 and a reverse jump power reserve indicator at 9:30. 40-hour power reserve.

Functionally, the 4S29 and 4S79 are very similar movements, both are only hand-wound, the sub-seconds hand is located on the 6 o'clock subdial, and the power reserve complication is located at 9 o'clock. These movements are no day/day. Calibre 4S79 is rated for a daily difference of +15/-10 sec/day, while the Brightz 4S29 movement is rated for a daily difference of +25/-15 sec/day. Like most Credor watches released in the late 90s and early 2000s, the movement is gold-plated, which contrasts with the Brightz 4S29 movement, which dwarfs it. And the 4S79 movement has 31 Ruby, while the 4S29 movement has only 29 Ruby
