Fake. Boiling water is no big problem to drink the next day.
The inability to drink boiled water overnight is likely to cause cancer from another point of view: overnight dishes cannot be eaten. This is due to the fact that many people believe that a variety of nutrient-rich dishes are the cradle of bacteria, and microorganisms multiply after too long a period of time. Among them, the nitrate of the dish is decomposed by bacteria into nitrite, which is a carcinogen that is very harmful to the human body.
Speaking of which, everyone understands that there are 4 preconditions that make overnight dishes unpalatable:
1. There are enough bacteria in the food to place the growing nutrients;
2. Microorganisms can be inoculated into food;
3. Food contains nitrate or nitrite as a precursor for metabolism;
4. After enough bacterial metabolism time.
In fact, in the case of sterilization, sealing, and refrigeration, the nitrite in overnight dishes is far from the dangerous dose, or it can be eaten; not to mention overnight water. There are not enough nutrients in the overnight water, which is not conducive to bacterial growth; when the overnight water is boiled, it has done a round of sterilization treatment, and the microorganisms in the remaining air cannot have a great impact on it; the content of nitrate and nitrite in the overnight water is very low; a night time is not enough to make the microorganisms in the air pollute in a state of nutrient deficiency.
From the data, the limit of nitrite content in water is not higher than 1 mg/L[1], and after boiling water is placed for 24 hours, the nitrite content is only 1.3 times that of just boiling. The newly boiled water, the nitrite content is only 0.005mg/L, which is far below the limit.
Therefore, rest assured to drink water, if the overnight water can not be drunk, then the water that boils in the morning can not be drunk in the evening? So, if you think about it carefully, the rumors are still not self-defeating.
