Orange-bellied leaf quail: Similar in size to the amount of leaf quail, with a body length of 16-20 cm. The forehead to the hind neck is yellowish-green, the rest of the upperparts are green, and the small coverts are bright cobalt blue with distinct shoulder spots. The chin, throat, and upper chest are black with diamond-blue hair lines, and the rest of the lower body is orange.
The males have black flight and tail feathers, while the females are green. The similar species of blue-winged grebe has a yellow forehead, blue overwings and flight feathers, and an orange abdomen, which is obviously distinguishable; the amount leaf grebe is orange and the abdomen is grass-green, which is also significantly different.
