Three hundred miles to the east, Riyang Mountain. There is more jade on it, and more gold and copper on the bottom. There are beasts, whose shape is like an ox and a red tail, whose neck and kidneys, whose shape is like a sentence qu, whose name is linghu, whose song is xiào(xiào) has been mad.

Three hundred miles to the east of Tianchi Mountain is Yang mountain, which has all kinds of beautiful jade on the mountain, and gold and copper are abundant under the mountain. There is a beast in the mountains, shaped like an ox, but with a red tail, a sarcoma on its neck, high and raised, shaped like a bucket, and its name is Linghu. Its roar is like calling its own name, and it is said that eating its flesh cures epilepsy.

Indian tumor cattle and collared beards look very similar. Above the neck of the tumor cow grows a large bull peak, which looks like a large tumor, hence the name.
