Two articles have been written about the suzhou historical tombs, introducing the situation of 20 celebrity tombs in Suzhou. Today's article is a re-addition to the first two articles, and it contains 10 Suzhou celebrity tombs.

1. Zhu Ji Yin

Tomb of Zhu Ji Yin

Zhu Jiyin (朱稽郢), a Yue national at the end of the Spring and Autumn Period; both literary and martial arts, able to speak eloquently; an important assistant during the reign of King Gou of Yue, an official to Sima and Dafu; King Jing of Zhou, in the twenty-fourth year (496 BC), as the main general, led an army to defeat the Wu army led by King Lu of Wu and died of his wounds; in 494 BC, the Wu army again cut down Yue, and he and Gou Jian were trapped in Huiji Mountain, and were ordered to go to the Wu camp to make peace, and to persuade the Wu army to retreat with a reed tongue. The tomb of Zhu Jiyin is located in Binghui Village, Jinting Town, Wuzhong District, Suzhou City.

2. Weijing

Wei Jing (1159-1226), a native of Huating, Jiaxing (present-day Fengxian District, Shanghai), and a member of the Southern Song Dynasty Chunxi In the eleventh year (1184), successively served as ChengshiLang, Zhendong Junjian Judge, Secretary Of Provincial Zhengzi, Huaidong, Zhejiang Dong Tiju, Shangshu Right Election Lang Official, Qiju Sheren, Gongbu Shangshu, Coastal Envoy, Zhongshu Sheren, Bureaucrat Shangshu, Yushi Zhongcheng, Counselor, Yangzhou Zhizhou, and Zizhengdian Scholar; after his death, he was posthumously awarded the title of Prince of Qin. Weijing Tomb is located in Liuao Mountain, Shipu Town, Kunshan City, Suzhou City.

Gao Dingzi (1177-1247), a native of Pujiang County, Qiongzhou (present-day Pujiang, Sichuan), a jinshi in the second year of the Southern Song Dynasty (1202), successively served as the chief bookkeeper of QiXian County, Zhongjiang County, Jiajiang Zhi County, Mianzhou Zhizhou, Baomu Gezhi, Jiangnan East Road Transport Judge, Military Weapons Supervisor, Taifu Shaoqing, Deputy Envoy of Jidu Transport, Si Nongqing and Yumu Examiner, Taichang Shaoqing and Guoshiguan Editor, Qiju Sheren, Libu Shilang, Zhongshu Sheren, Libu Shangshu, Hanlin Bachelor, Zhizhi And Bureaucrat Shangshu, Duanmingdian Scholar, Signed the Privy Council, participated in the affairs of the Governor, and posthumously gave shaobao after his death. Gao Dingzi's tomb is located near Baoshan Temple in Xishan, Wuzhong District, Suzhou.

4. Wei Yiweng

Wei Weng (1178-1237), a native of Pujiang County, Qiongzhou (present-day Pujiang, Sichuan); a member of the Southern Song Dynasty in the fifth year (1199), successively served as a judge of Xichuan Jiedu, Guozizheng, Doctor of Martial Arts, Secretary Provincial Zhengzi, Prefect of Jiading Prefecture, Hanzhou, Meizhou Zhizhou, Suining Prefecture, Luzhou Prefecture, Tongchuan Prefecture Governor, Bingbu Langzhong, Secretary Supervisor, Qiju Sheren, Tongchuan Road Pacification Envoy, Luzhou Zhizhou, Libu Shangshu, Duanmingdian Scholar, Fellow Privy Councillor, and was conferred the title of Founding Marquis of Qiong County; he made many contributions in science; he was posthumously awarded the title of Taishi after his death , The Duke of Qin. The tomb of Wei Yiweng is located in Jinbonwu, Gaojingshan, Fengqiao Town, Huqiu District, Suzhou.

5. Gaussau

Gao Sidao (1207-1273), a native of Pujiang County, Qiongzhou (present-day Pujiang, Sichuan); son of Gao Dingzi, official to the prefect of Deqing Province, emperor of the imperial government, and the founding man of Fengwu County. The tomb of Gaussau is adjacent to the tomb of his father, Gauding son.

Gui Youguang (1507-1571), a native of Kunshan County, Suzhou Province (present-day Kunshan, Jiangsu), was called Zhenchuan; at the age of 33, he was a zhongjue, but then he was named Luosun Shan in eight consecutive examinations; at the age of 60, he was only admitted to the Jinshi, successively serving as Changxingzhi County, Shunde Prefecture Tongjue, and Nanjing Taibu Temple; the literary style followed the Tang and Song dynasties, and was one of the most influential literary figures in the middle of the Ming Dynasty; Ming Longqing was summoned to the cabinet in the fourth year (1570) to participate in the compilation of the Records of Sejong, and unfortunately died of illness the following year. Gui Youguang Tomb is located in the Zhenchuan Garden of Kunshan City, Suzhou City.

7. Zhang Zhuo

Zhang Zhuo (章涣), born and died unknown, was a native of Wu County (present-day Wuzhong District, Suzhou, Jiangsu), a scholar in the seventeenth year of Ming Jiajing (1538), a former chief of the Punishment Department, a chief of the Bureaucracy, a secretary of the Nanjing Taibu Temple, a governor of the Duchayuan, a governor of Fujian, and a governor of Henan; and there are works such as "Allusions to the State Dynasty" and "Huayang Man manuscripts". The tomb of Zhang Zhuo is located in Zhangjia Mountain, Fengqiao Town, Huqiu District, Suzhou City.

8. Qin Yi

Qin Yi (?) —1795), a native of Wuxi County, Changzhou (now Wuxi, Jiangsu); because of its beautiful hair, people called it "Qin Hair"; paintings and poems were fresh and natural, and their own character; representative works include "Furong Lake Map" and "Liutang Spring Water Map". Qin Yi's tomb is located in Qinjiabao, Feixian Mountain, Xishan, Wuzhong District, Suzhou.

9. Void Valley

Xugu (1823-1896), a native of Xin'an (present-day Shexian County, Anhui), commonly known as Zhu, the monk's name is Xubai, the character is Xugu; he was a general in the Qing Army, participated in the suppression of the Taiping Army, deeply touched by the brutal killing, so he became a monk; paintings, books, and poems are exquisite, and he has frequent contacts with famous artists of maritime calligraphy and painting such as Ren Bonian, Gao Yongzhi, Hu Gongshou, Wu Changshuo, and Ni Mogeng, and is known as the "Four Masters of the Hai Sect at the End of the Qing Dynasty" with Ren Bonian, Pu Hua, and Wu Changshuo. The Tomb of Xugu is located in Panyan Mountain, Guangfu Town, Wuzhong District, Suzhou City.

10. Yao Chengzu

Yao Chengzu (1866-1938), a native of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province; born in a family of carpenters, skilled in craftsmanship, many of the houses and gardens in Suzhou were from his hands, in 1912 he was elected as the president of the Suzhou Luban Association; in his later years, based on his grandfather's "Ziye Testament", combined with his own architectural practice, he wrote "Supplementing clouds and building small buildings" and "Construction Fayuan". The tomb of Yao Chengzu is located in Yufan Village, Xukou Town, Wuzhong District, Suzhou City, adjacent to the tomb of another ancient master, Ku Xiang.
