The railway departments of China and Laos have formulated a train operation plan under the conditions of epidemic prevention and control, and 2 pairs of cross-border freight trains are operated daily between Kunming and Vientiane South, and between Vientiane and Moding and Kunming to Mohan, point-to-point EMU trains are opened. There are 2 pairs of mobile train sets from Vientiane to Moding every day, including 1 pair from Vientiane to Luang Prabang and 1 pair from Vientiane to Moding, and a maximum of 17.5 pairs of mobile train sets can be operated daily between Kunming and Moding. The two sides will dynamically adjust the passenger and freight train operation plan according to the epidemic prevention and control situation and changes in passenger and freight traffic demand.
