The historical sites of Zhongshan are all over Wuzhou (I) - accompany Mr. Sun to Wuzhou

Sun Yat-sen, the forerunner of the great democratic revolution, forged an indissoluble relationship with Wuzhou during his revolutionary career. From October 1921 to April 1922, Sun Yat-sen was stationed in Wuzhou three times to organize and plan the Northern Expedition, and at the same time paid great attention to the social and economic development of Wuzhou and the life of the people of Wuzhou.

Where Sun Yat-sen went

Nishi-ōdai Yamen

The location of the West Old Xietai Yamen was in the compound of the Wuzhou Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China on present-day Heping Road. Sun Yat-sen's first (October 17-18, 1921) and second (October 29-November 15, 1921) were stationed here. Here, the Northern Expedition was organized and deployed, and the Northern Expeditionary Army was assembled in many ways to form a base camp for the Northern Expedition; speeches were delivered at the Wuzhou Kuomintang welcome meeting; Wang Naichang and Deng Jiayan were appointed to be responsible for organizing the Kuomintang Guangxi Party Department at Yinglu on Mawang Street (now the dormitory of the Wuzhou Daily on Dongzhong Road); they were interviewed by reporters from the Continental Daily of the United States; and they accepted a petition from the citizens of Wuzhou and ordered the issuance of paper money to be stopped.

North Hills

Beishan is located in the center of Wuzhou, known as Tea Mountain in ancient times. During Sun Yat-sen's second stay in Wuzhou, he and Xu Yanhuan, the governor of Cangwu County, ascended the Northern Mountains and instructed them to defend the city of Wuzhou. In 1924, Beishan was set up as a park and named Zhongshan Park, which was the earliest park built in Wuzhou. The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, built in 1930, is also located in the park.

It is Dragon Island

Longzhou is located in the heart of the Xijiang River, 3.5 kilometers east of Wuzhou City, surrounded by water on all sides. Also known as Seven Mile Continent. The island is full of grass, rocky, pavilions, green trees and rivers. Legend has it that there is a mountain range on Cheung Chau Island in the upper reaches of this continent that winds east and extends to this point, like a chain locking the mouth of the Three Rivers, so the history is called Longzhou.

When Sun Yat-sen was stationed in Wuzhou for the second time, he and Zhang Meng and others landed on Longzhou and admired the dangerous terrain and beautiful scenery of this continent; he instructed to build a fort on Jinping Mountain and form a horn with the Lion Fort to defend the Wuzhou River.

StarGong Hospital

StarGong Hospital is located at the Wuzhou Workers' Hospital on present-day Fumin Road. During sun yat-sen's second stay in Wuzhou, he inspected the Wuzhou Star Public Hospital and took a group photo with bi Jishi, the American president of the hospital, and Pastor Li Lishan (American) in front of the hospital's medical department.

In 1985, Bi Jishi's daughter, Bi Jishi, who was born in Wuzhou, came to China for a tour and provided this precious photo to the Workers' Hospital after returning to the United States.

In 1986, at the wuzhou commemoration of the 120th anniversary of Sun Yat-sen's birth, the Wuzhou local history office collected this photo from Huang Guangye, a doctor at the Workers' Hospital, and it was published publicly. This is the first time that precious photographs of Sun Yat-sen in Wuzhou have been found.

Gyeongnam Lord Temple

Jingnan Da dare temple is located in Cangwu County, West Beijing South Town. On November 15, 1921, Sun Yat-sen hired 65 ships, 7 cruise ships, and sent all his entourage to leave Wuzhou for Guilin to continue organizing the Northern Expedition. Due to the rapid and shallow water of the beach, one of the ships led by Sun Yat-sen sank. So Sun Yat-sen stopped at the Jingnan Grand Temple, postponed it for two days to Zhaoping, and arrived in Guilin on December 4. In 1999, according to the clues of historical materials and insiders, a shipwreck was found in Changfa Wulong Beach, and after many demonstrations by experts in the field of history in Wuzhou City, it can be affirmed that this is the one that sunk on the way to Guilin led by Sun Yat-sen in the Northern Expedition.
