Feng Tianyu, a professor at the School of History of Wuhan University, has long been engaged in the study of Chinese cultural history and the local history of Hubei Province and Wuhan, with fruitful results. Feng Tianyu's father, Feng Yongxuan, was a famous historian who studied under Liang Qichao, Huang Kan, and Wang Guowei. Since the 1920s, although the two generations of the Feng family have experienced wars and turmoil, they have not changed their original intention of promoting Chinese culture, and have immersed themselves in the collection of a number of famous inkblots and ancient coins such as Tang Dynasty scriptures, Ming and Qing dynasty calligraphy and paintings, and letters.

Four years ago, Feng Tianyu came up with the idea of building a bookstore in his hometown, and received positive responses from Hong'an County, Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and other parties. Feng's Bookstore began to be prepared in April this year, and more than 1,300 books and calligraphy and paintings were successfully completed and opened around the National Day this year. Before the opening of the museum, Mr. Feng Tianyu attached great importance to it and personally formulated the exhibition logo of "seeing the trees and thinking about the old home, examining the literature and loving the old state".

Feng Tianyu's fourth brother, Feng Tianjin, a professor at ocean university of China, represented Feng's father and son at the opening ceremony of the "Feng's Bookstore". He said: "My father received financial support from his father and fellow villagers since he was a child, and he has always been obsessed with his hometown after leaving home. The two generations of the Fung family have always been grateful to their hometown, which is our original intention to build this bookstore."

Qin Ziyi, a docent at the Hong'an County Museum, said that the calligraphy paintings exhibited in the bookstore are all from Zeng Guofan and Zuo Zongtang, the important ministers of the late Qing Dynasty, Cheng Songwan, Liang Qichao, and Wang Guowei, political leaders of the Qing Dynasty; contemporary literary artists Cheng Qianfan and Yao Xueyan; painters Huang Binhong and Tang Wenxuan, who are rich in content, have no shortage of treasures, and have high artistic and cultural value.

Liu Tangjun, secretary of the Hong'an County CPC Committee, said that the roots of the Feng family are in Hong'an, and this batch of collections donated by two generations of the Feng family carries the genes and veins of Chinese culture, and will inject vitality and connotation into the accumulation and precipitation and rich development of Hong'an culture.
