Chinese fans of Korean movies are blessed

Blessed are Korean movie fans in China, and after nearly 6 years of separation, Chinese audiences can watch Korean movies in movie theaters again.

On December 3, some cinemas in China will have a movie called "Oh! Vincent (Oh! My Gran), a Korean comedy film starring South Korean stars Luo Wenji and Lee Hee-joon.

The performance of this Korean film in Chinese cinemas is likely to indicate that China has begun to unblock Korean movies and even TV dramas, and Chinese Korean film fans and Korean drama fans are blessed.

The last Korean movie to be shown in a Chinese cinema was Assassination, which was about 6 years ago.

Oh! "Wen Ji" tells the story of a traffic hit-and-run accident witness, Wen Ji (Luo Wen Ji), and his reckless son Dou Yuan (Lee Hee Joon) who rampage into the countryside to catch the criminal. The victim of the traffic accident is Dou Yuan's daughter, while Wen Ji suffers from Alzheimer's disease. Mother and son personally went out to find the criminals who escaped after hurting their granddaughter/daughter. The film is set against the backdrop of a calm and serene countryside. The humane characters and the tense, laughter-interlaced search process, coupled with the tacit cooperation of the actors, will bring a different pleasant smile to the audience.
