Just like Zhu Yuanzhang, the ancestor of the Ming Dynasty, he seems to have taken the wrong script of life, turned over, sat on the world, and became a monarch. Just like Liu Bang, the ancestor of Han Gao, climbed up from the Surabaya Pavilion to the Han Dynasty, it was almost like opening a hanging.
The character we are discussing today, his life can be described as a big ups and downs. As a tribal nobleman, he recruited soldiers and horses in the chaotic world, and there were many talents at the bottom who followed him, and even the emperors of the Four Dynasties obeyed him. Later, he finally became the actual trader of the dynasty, and was known as the "Cao Cao of the time". However, in the later reign, there were many decision-making mistakes, and in the end, there was no good ending - being killed by the son-in-law.
Erzhu Rong, a noble descendant of the Qihu tribe, had been loyal to Emperor Wu of Northern Wei for generations, and traced back to the past as a famous general, the Duke of Liang County. Subsequently, Erzhu Rong naturally inherited the title of Duke of Liang County, just like the family for generations.
We also mentioned Erzhu Rong in the previous issues because Erzhu Rong played a great key role in the Six Towns Uprising, and this battle was inextricably linked to the establishment of a generation of merits that followed him.
In 523, due to the improper reform of Emperor Xiaowen, the people were dissatisfied, and the Six Towns Rebellion broke out. At this time, the Northern Wei Empire was not enough to resist this wave of menacing forces, and could only use the power of the leading state to suppress them. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Erzhu Rong began to recruit the Magi. In the chaos of the Pingding War, he was thirsty for talents, so he successfully recruited rebels and subdued many talents. Gao Huan and Yuwen Tai were subdued during this period.
The reigning Northern Wei emperor at that time was the Xiaoming Emperor Yuanxuan, and when he first ascended the throne, due to his young age, his mother helped the government. But as he grew older, she still held the main political power and did not let go. The two began to feel angry, and the contradiction became increasingly fierce. Later, Emperor Xiaoming married Erzhu Rong's daughter to bribe Erzhu Rong, so Erzhu Rong ate very well in the imperial court and his power developed rapidly.
In 528 AD, it was really impossible to bear Empress Hu's demon words to confuse the public, and the two completely tore their faces. Emperor Xiaoming secretly ordered Zhu Rong to enter the palace and plot how to capture and kill Empress Hu. Empress Hu was naturally not a fuel-saving lamp, and in the face of Emperor Xiaoming's step-by-step pressing, she chose the most cruel and simple approach. In the end, Emperor Xiaoming died of poisoning by Empress Dowager Hu.
As soon as the news of Emperor Xiaoming's death reached Erzhu Rong's ears, he was furious. While actively raising troops so that war could be waged at any time, he also contacted Empress Dowager Hu's Northern Wei sect chambers, which were not accustomed to Empress Hu, and prepared to cooperate with the outside world and take Empress Dowager Hu and the forces behind her in one fell swoop.
Erzhu Rong then managed to get in touch with the beloved King Yuanziyou of Changle, intending to push him to the throne. In the same year, Erzhu Rong issued an inspiring oath in Jinyang, and Yuan Ziyou successfully ascended the throne, while Erzhu Rong continued to march on Empress Dowager Hu.
Empress Dowager Hu was already unpopular with the people, and Erzhu Rong easily invaded the city of Luoyang, and soon captured Empress Dowager Hu and Emperor You.
Then, at the instigation of his subordinate Fei Mu, Erzhu Rong, who was ambitious as a wolf, tried to take northern Wei in one fell swoop, which was the origin of the famous "Heyin Change" in history.
At the beginning of Emperor Xiaozhuang's ascension to the throne, one day, Erzhu Rong proposed to go to Heyin to worship the heavens and asked all civilian and military attachés to be present. As everyone knows, this is the beginning of Erzhu Rong's killing path, and their great trouble is coming. After arriving at the altar, Erzhu Rong personally led Emperor Xiaozhuang to the high platform, and then insulted the ignorance and incompetence of the civil and military officials, laziness and greed, and publicized their inaction. Then he ordered the ambushed soldiers to annihilate them in one fell swoop, and the scene was very cruel and bloody. The killing continued, and even sent troops to kill all the Han and Xianbei nobles in Luoyang, in order to move the tiger away from the mountain. The whole sky over Luoyang was covered with the smell of blood, and the Yellow River was soaked with blood, known in history as the "Change of Heyin".
After this battle, the foundation of Northern Wei's rule was crumbling, and Erzhu Rong and the Liangzi of the Northern Wei clan were completely married. As soon as the war breaks out, how will the evil country planted by Erzhu Rong be repaid later?
This battle was already well known in Luoyang, and in order to avoid the limelight, Erzhu Rong chose to stay in Jinyang to remotely control Northern Wei. While remotely controlling the Government of the Northern Wei Dynasty, Erzhu Rong was still fighting everywhere on the other. He conquered Hebei and the Guanlong region and defeated the Northern Expedition led by Chen Qingzhi. This basically solved the problem of warlord division north of the Northern Wei Dynasty.
In 530 BC, the resentful Emperor Xiaozhuang invited Erzhu Rong into the palace to celebrate in the name of Empress Erzhu's birth of a prince, but in fact wanted to kill him. This secret had long been known to Erzhu Rong's spies in the palace, but I didn't know whether he had a big heart or was really fearless. Erzhu Rong only brought dozens of people into the palace, and did not carry weapons. In the end, we can imagine that Erzhu Rong, who was only thirty-eight years old, was brutally killed in the Mingguang Hall of Luoyang.
