This year is the sixth consecutive year that Guangdong has held the "Zhongchuang Cup" Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition, which attracted a total of 17,000 projects. Statistics show that in the past six years, the "Zhongchuang Cup" has radiated to more than 20 countries, attracted more than 100,000 projects to register, provided more than 70 million yuan of funding for outstanding entrepreneurial projects, accumulated more than 8 billion yuan of venture capital and bank credit for award-winning projects, and more than 60% of the team group award-winning projects landed in Guangdong.

The 2021 Guangdong "Zhongchuang Cup" Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition is co-sponsored by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and the Provincial Department of Industrial Informatization.
In about two months of registration time, as the leading double-venture brand in the Greater Bay Area, Guangdong "Zhongchuang Cup" attracted 17,000 entrepreneurial projects from both sides of the Taiwan Straits, Hong Kong and Macao and overseas, with project teams covering 11 countries such as the United States, Canada, Germany, France, Belgium, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore and Malaysia.
In order to achieve accurate support, the competition tailored special competition areas for different entrepreneurial groups, with a total of 7 individual competitions: science and technology returnee pilot competition, doctoral postdoctoral innovation competition, college students sailing competition, skilled craftsman competition, disabled charity competition, mass entrepreneurship and wealth creation competition, rural revitalization special competition.
At the same time, the Taiwan Division, Hong Kong and Macao Divisions are set up, and overseas (overseas) divisions are set up to encourage and attract young people at home and abroad to actively participate in the "double creation" boom in the Bay Area.
This year's competition has entered its sixth year, and it has also ushered in a series of innovative upgrades in the content and format of the competition. For example, in terms of the qualifications of participating enterprises, the registration period is relaxed from 3 years to 5 years, and the scope of the event is comprehensively expanded; at the main event, it focuses on major strategic deployments, closely follows the construction of "dual zones", and highlights the theme of scientific and technological innovation.
