On the morning of November 29, the Luopu Subdistrict Office of Panyu District organized the safety supervision squadron, the urban management law enforcement team, the fire brigade, and the environmental protection squadron to carry out special inspections on the safety of enterprises using hazardous chemicals.
The inspection team focused on the safety inspection of Guangzhou Shenzuka Musical Instrument Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Maojing New Leather Products Co., Ltd., and Guangzhou Jinhuamei Leather Goods Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in the jurisdiction, mainly inspecting the implementation of the company's hazardous chemical safety production management responsibilities, safety risk control, and the company's internal fire fighting facilities and equipment. After inspection, it was found that some enterprises had safety equipment and facilities blocked by debris; did not wear safety protective equipment (dust masks, earplugs) according to the norms; did not open ventilation during workshop operations; and did not install smoke alarms in the factory area. In response to the inspection situation, the inspection team issued the "On-site Inspection Record", requiring the person in charge of the enterprise to implement rectification within the time limit, and urging them to strengthen the investigation and management of hidden dangers and strengthen emergency drills. The inspection team stressed: First, it is necessary to strictly implement the main responsibility of safe production, regularly carry out self-inspection and rectification of hidden dangers, and strictly prevent accidents; second, it is necessary to strictly implement the rules and regulations for safe production, strengthen employee safety education and training, and improve the safety awareness and ability of employees; third, it is necessary to conscientiously implement key safety control measures in key areas of hazardous chemicals to ensure that the production environment in hazardous areas is safe and good. According to statistics, a total of 8 inspectors were dispatched, 3 enterprises were inspected, 3 inspection records were issued, 3 documents were changed within a time limit, and 11 hidden dangers were found.
