The long-tailed duck is a medium-sized duck with a shorter beak and neck. The male has very long central tail feathers, is good at diving, and flies very fast, with an average speed of up to 80 km / h.
It breeds in the Arctic tundra where rivers run across it; it inhabits the sea in winter, rarely in fresh water, and is a rare winter migratory bird in China. Assessed as vulnerable (VU) by the IUCN and endangered by the Red List of Vertebrates of China.

The spotted goose is a medium-sized goose with two black bands on the top of its head, which are very conspicuous on the white head, and inhabit the highland wetlands at an altitude of 4000-5300 meters during the breeding period, especially like saltwater lakes, but also choose freshwater lakes and open swampy areas.
Spotted geese are cautious in nature, breeding in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and Tianshan Mountains, and commonly found in the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and southern Tibetan wetlands in winter. It is the first time it has been found in the Baotou area.
