Ford Motor (China) Co., Ltd. recalls some imported Explorer cars
Scope of the recall
Effective immediately, a total of 15,781 fifth-generation imported Explorer vehicles of the 2016-2019 models manufactured between April 7, 2015 and October 2, 2018 will be recalled.
Reason for the recall
Within the scope of the recall, the lock of the roof rack trim strip may break during the assembly process, resulting in a decrease in the fixing strength of the luggage rack trim strip; in addition, the insufficient travel of the luggage rack trim strip to the card on the base of the luggage rack will also cause the trim strip to not fit correctly, resulting in a decrease in the fixation strength. The luggage rack trim may fall off during the driving process of the vehicle, causing harm to other road users and causing safety hazards.
Workaround
Ford Motor (China) Co., Ltd. will check the luggage rack base card for broken and damaged luggage rack trim at a free of charge through authorized dealers, and replace the luggage rack trim and material-optimized buckle as needed. And use special fasteners to fix the luggage rack trim, and the special fasteners will fix the luggage rack base and the luggage rack trim strip horizontally to improve the installation firmness to eliminate safety hazards.
Emergency Measures: Before the vehicle is recalled for repair, the user should drive the vehicle with caution, and if there is abnormal wind noise and/or creaking and rattling on the roof, please immediately go to the authorized dealer for maintenance.
Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. recalled some imported Lexus CT200h hybrid vehicles
Effective December 31, 2021, a total of 908 imported Lexus CT200h vehicles manufactured between June 2, 2020 and January 18, 2021 will be recalled.
Vehicles within the scope of the recall may have poor welding of the joining surface of the fuel tank due to improper management and maintenance of the manufacturing equipment of the resin fuel tank. When refueling or full tanks, there may be fuel leakage from this joint, which is a safety hazard.
Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will replace the modified fuel tanks for vehicles covered by the recall free of charge to eliminate safety hazards.
Emergency disposal method: If the user finds a leakage of fuel tank during daily use, please contact the nearest dealer for inspection and repair.
Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. recalled some Auchan A800-H15T and Lingxuan-H15T vehicles
With effect today, recall 15,513 Auchan A800-H15T vehicles manufactured between June 3, 2017 and December 24, 2018;
Some Of the Lingxuan-H15T vehicles produced from June 1, 2017 to August 12, 2018, 5,197 units; a total of 20,710 vehicles.
Vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to the selection of engine cooling fan power cord safety terminals and manufacturing process deviations, in extreme cases, it will lead to vehicle fuse fuse and cooling fan safety area of the phenomenon of melting, can not exclude the risk of fire, there is a safety hazard.
Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. will inspect the vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge and replace the engine cooling fan power cord safety terminals to eliminate safety hazards.
The recall was carried out in the context of the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) initiating a defect investigation. Affected by the investigation, Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. decided to take recall measures to eliminate safety hazards.
Beijing Hyundai Motor Co., Ltd. recalls some of the ninth generation sonata and sonata hybrid vehicles
Effective immediately, some 9th-generation Sonata and 9th-generation Sonata hybrids will be recalled as follows:
(1) The ninth generation of Sonata cars produced between October 9, 2014 and October 7, 2017, with a total of 88,995 units.
(2) 5,530 ninth-generation Sonata hybrid vehicles produced between May 27, 2015 and September 12, 2018.
Vehicles covered by this recall may not be able to correctly determine the signal received from the steering switch due to a problem with the logic of the Smart Junction Box (SJB) software. When the left turn signal switch is turned on, the external turn signal and the dashboard turn signal are occasionally displayed as the right side, which may increase the risk of vehicle collision and there is a safety hazard.
Beijing Hyundai Motor Co., Ltd. will upgrade the Smart Junction Box (SJB) procedure free of charge for vehicles within the scope of the recall to eliminate safety hazards.
Hyundai Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. recalls some imports of Kia Jawa Motors
Effective December 8, 2021, the following vehicles will be recalled:
Some of the kia-Kahua 2.2L China IV (high-end) vehicles produced from March 19, 2015 to July 22, 2016, totaling 1,055 units;
Some of the kia-ka-wah 2.2L China IV (low-end) vehicles produced from July 30, 2015 to February 20, 2016, a total of 64 units;
Some of the kia-Kahua 3.3L China IV vehicles produced from May 22, 2015 to December 2, 2015, totaling 113 units;
Some of the Kia Kahua 3.3L China V vehicles produced from May 18, 2015 to July 21, 2016, totaling 369 units.
Hyundai Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will upgrade the Smart Junction Box (SJB) program free of charge for vehicles within the scope of the recall to eliminate safety hazards.
GAC Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. recalls some Camry vehicles
Effective November 27, 2021, the recall of certain Camry vehicles manufactured between December 7, 2017 and February 3, 2018, totaling 3,286 vehicles.
Due to the insufficient wear resistance of the vane cover material of the vacuum pump, some vehicles within the scope of this recall may cause abnormal wear and tear under long-term long-term engine idle and other operations. In extreme cases, the blade cover may be damaged, resulting in a decrease in the braking power of the vehicle and a longer braking distance, which will increase the risk of collision of the vehicle and cause safety hazards.
GAC Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. will replace the modified vacuum pump vanes and vane caps free of charge for vehicles covered by the recall to eliminate safety hazards.
Emergency disposal measures: Before recalling maintenance, users are advised to avoid idle running the vehicle for a long time, and enter the store in time after the recall activity begins for repair.
Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd. expanded recall of some imported Infiniti QX30 vehicles
With effect today, the recall of some imported Infiniti QX30 vehicles manufactured from January 16, 2017 to February 13, 2017, for a total of 66 vehicles, will be expanded.
Some vehicles within the scope of this recall due to the deviation of the supplier's production equipment, resulting in a large hole size for fixing bearings on the steering shaft universal joint, resulting in a gap between the bearing and the hole wall, and the gap will be increased after the long-term use of the vehicle, resulting in abnormal or inaccurate steering of the vehicle. If the vehicle is ignored for a long time and the vehicle is continued to be used, the cross shaft may be detached from the joint fork in extreme cases, causing the steering shaft function to fail, resulting in the vehicle being unable to steer normally, increasing the risk of vehicle collision, and there is a safety hazard.
Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will replace qualified steering axles for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge through Dongfeng Infiniti Automobile Co., Ltd. to eliminate safety hazards.
Emergency measures: Before the vehicle recall and maintenance, the user should drive carefully, such as finding that the vehicle has a strange sound (click) or inaccurate steering when steering, please contact infiniti authorized dealers in time to deal with it.
This recall is an expanded recall of the "Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd. Recalls Some Imported Infiniti QX30 Vehicles" recall campaign released on June 9, 2021. The reason for the expansion of the recall is that through further product investigation, it was found that the vehicles within the scope of this recall may have the same safety hazards.
