The renovation and upgrading project is located in Taihua Road and Danxia Road in the Hejiang Area of Hecheng Street, Gaoming District, Foshan City, and due to the imperfection of the sidewalk and related auxiliary facilities in this section, it has been causing a certain travel impact on the masses in the area. In this regard, the Gaoming District Chengguan Law Enforcement Bureau has entered the site this week to carry out the enclosure work in the early stage of the project and officially implement the road upgrading and transformation.
It is reported that the renovation and upgrading project mainly reconstructs and upgrades the sidewalks and auxiliary roads of Taihua Road (Gaoming Avenue to Sanbao Road Section, with a total length of about 2.16 kilometers), Danxia Road (Xiulihe to Xiangfu Road Section, a total length of about 1 kilometer), and improves the municipal supporting facilities along the line, with a total length of about 3.16 kilometers. The main contents include: upgrading the auxiliary road surface and signs, sidewalks and auxiliary facilities, road lighting systems, drainage, greening, etc. of the above sections. After the completion of the project, about 5 kilometers of non-motorized special lanes will be added, and more than 700 parking spaces will be regulated on the road (including more than 500 danxia road and more than 150 taihua road).
Through the unified planning and transformation of the pavement of the above two sections, solve the problems of damaged and dilapidated sidewalks and unreasonable parking spaces, improve the transformation of roads and corresponding municipal supporting facilities, further ensure the safe travel and passage of surrounding citizens, meet the needs of smart urbanization development, and enhance the overall image of the city.
The renovation and upgrading works have entered the site this week to carry out the pre-project enclosure work and are expected to be completed in May 2022.
