Kevin Spacey will pay nearly $31 million to the Producer of House of Cards, who breached his contract because of the sexual assault allegations. The disgraceful 62-year-old actor starred in Netflix's hit political drama House of Cards between 2013 and 2017 before being accused of sexual misconduct by several young men, including a production assistant for the show.

In 2018, Spacey was kicked out of the cast and starred Robin White as the lead actor for the final season. The allegations against Spacey led to an investigation by Mr. Police, the producer of House of Cards, which led to the termination of the star's acting and production contracts.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the outcome of the lawsuit led to Spacey losing the case. The court arbitration is jointly owned by MRC and Pensky Media. MrC filed documents with los Angeles Superior Court in an attempt to confirm the arbitral award.

According to the document, an arbitrator ruled Oct. 19 that Spacey had breached contractual obligations, including complying with mr.R.'s anti-harassment policy, THR reported. The arbitrator noted that there was evidence that Spacey's actions hit mr. Sirc, such as having to shorten the show's sixth season after stopping production to catch up with the delivery deadline.

Spacey reportedly argued that his agreement still entitled him to money, and MRC and Netflix decided to remove Spacey from the show because of Spacey's actions outside the statute of limitations, an MRC's own choice that resulted in financial losses.

"The safety of our employees, equipment and work environment is of paramount importance to MRC, which is why we started pushing for accountability," MRC said in a statement obtained by the media. Attorney Michael said: "It is a privilege to represent the MRC in this matter. MRC stood its ground, pursued the case relentlessly, and finally achieved the right outcome. ”
