Novak Djokovic lost to third seed Alexander Zverev in the ATP World Tour Finals semifinals.
World number one Djokovic lost 6-7 (4-7), 6-4, 3-6 to Zverev, who also lost to this opponent in this summer's Olympic singles semi-finals.
In the first set, the two players held their serve until Djokovic completed the break and the score was rewritten to 5-4.
However, Zverev pulled back a set in the next set, leading the first set into the seventh set and taking the first set.
Djokovic briefly lost concentration in the second set, but he quickly regained his form to pull back a set 6-4.
In the third set, when Zverev was leading 3-1, Djokovic seemed to lose patience and eventually lost the whole game.
After the game, Zverev said: "It was very difficult to beat Novak, every time we met, the game was long. ”
'I wouldn't have spent that long playing when I met any player, so I'm very happy to be able to win.'
