A group of Thais exchanged gunfire with local gendarmes, causing many casualties. The shooting took place at 11:25 p.m. on Nov. 20 in front of a casino in Bobay, Boo Di Mian Zhi province.
According to local residents, a quarrel suddenly broke out that night when a Thai gathered in the above-mentioned area to drink. When the gendarmes arrived at the scene to negotiate, the Thais also clashed with the police and gendarmes, smashed stones and chairs at the police, and shot at the gendarmes, resulting in 1 gendarme being shot and seriously injured, and 2 others injured.
In addition, local gendarmes returned fire and successfully arrested 15 people.
