After watching "Horror Live" (2021 Indian version) and (2013 Korean version) one day, the two versions of the story are basically exactly the same. Because I have not seen the Korean version before, I first looked at the Indian version and then reviewed the Korean version.
In the same story, three bridge repair workers died of accidental falls into the water without receiving any expenses or compensation. After their deaths, the son of a co-worker entered the television station to control the entire live television broadcast, with the sole purpose of asking the authorities to publicly apologize on television. In order to return to prime time, the TV station's once-popular gold medal host used this horrific event to win an exclusive live broadcast.
As the incident progressed, the authorities refused to apologize, the bridge exploded continuously, hostages died one after another, and officials and guests were killed during the live broadcast. The host thought the situation was under control, but when the policemen sent to hunt down the killer died in another explosion, the authorities directly planted the terror on the host, publicly declaring that the host and the killer were jointly committed.

The host's ex-wife is also a tv reporter, in order to report this sought-after news, she rushed to the scene of the bombed bridge, and unfortunately died. In the end, the police successfully sniped at the killer, and the host, in complete disappointment, pressed the blast controller left by the killer, and the entire TV station was wiped out.
In front of the authorities, just for a public apology from the authorities, the son of the poor man became the killer, and because the authorities framed him, the host became the successor of the killer.
They wanted to create a big event that shocked people through their own strength, in order to give some hints and warnings to the world they were in. In the eyes of the authorities, these are all frivolous dust, and after the incident, they only need the light words of the authorities to whitewash the peace.
The two versions are slightly different, the Korean version is the original version, the storyline from slow to fast, straight to the heart; the Indian version has been partially improved, the stunt techniques in the new version are much better than the old version, and the details are more delicate, such as the professional characteristics of the news people are more prominent: before the live broadcast, from wearing glasses and choosing a tie, in just a few minutes, the original decadent and sloppy host appeared on camera in a glamorous and beautiful live broadcast, reflecting the professionalism of excellent journalists.
There is still a lot to think about in the film, how can the authorities pay more attention to the vulnerable groups, how can news reports be closer to the truth, and whether the rules of TV stations relying on ratings to make a profit are correct...
"It is the human heart that releases the infinite light, and it is the human heart that creates the boundless darkness, and the light and darkness are intertwined and fighting, and this is the human world for which we are attached and helpless." (From Hugo's The World of Tragedy)
When the male protagonist pressed the blast controller left by the killer, the background behind him trembled, and he could see the skyscraper of the TV station falling down in an instant, and at that time there was also the belief that the male protagonist had no one to rely on; if the authorities did not give people the support to live, then it was not only the hearts of the people that would fall...
