The 26th Autumn Guangzhou International Art Fair (referred to as the 26th Guangzhou Art Fair) will be held from December 17 to December 20 at the Nanfeng International Convention and Exhibition Center, with an exhibition area of nearly 20,000 square meters. At the same time, it will hold a number of theme exhibitions such as "Great Beauty of Heaven and Earth" - Lu Yushun, President of the National Academy of Painting, Lu Yushun, Academic Exhibition of Chinese Painting, "If the End of the World is Next To Each Other" - Yang Yuanyi Photography Art Exhibition, as well as many heavyweight activities such as the International Art Award and the Aesthetic Salon of the Art Fair.

Zhang Xiangjun
He is currently a member of the China Artists Association, a contracted painter of the Guangdong Academy of Painting, the deputy secretary-general of the Guangdong Chinese Painting Society, the vice president of the Zhuhai Chinese Painting Society, the special painter of the Guoyun Wenhua Calligraphy and Painting Institute of the Sino-foreign Cultural Exchange Center of the Ministry of Culture, the special painter of the Southern Branch of the Calligraphy and Painting Institute of the Central Museum of Culture and History, the director of the Research and Planning Department of the Haishi Guyuan Art Museum, the painter of the Zhuhai Painting Academy, the deputy director of the Chinese Painting Art Committee of the Zhuhai Artists Association, and graduated from the Fine Arts Department of the People's Liberation Army Art Academy in Beijing in 1993. In 2021, he was recognized as an honorary doctorate by the University of Alberta, Canada. His works have participated in dozens of national fine art exhibitions organized by the China Artists Association and the Ministry of Culture and won awards, and have held many solo exhibitions at home and abroad.

"Fishing Matters: Hurricane" marks the painter Zhang Xiangjun's discovery of his own path in the innovation of ink figure painting. The core of the creative approach embodied in this painting is that the structure of the sketch and the flow of ink are combined as perfectly as possible. Such a work can still be said to be freehand, but it is a unique kind of capitalization, a kind of capitalization embedded in the context of realism.
