From November 18th to 21st, the 12th China International Film and Television Animation Copyright Protection and Trade Expo was held in Dongguan Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center. Dongguan Comic Library has been associated with the Expo for a long time
In 2004, Dongguan Comic Library was established, becoming the first animation library in mainland China. "Old Master", "Long Song Line", "Douluo Continent", "Fight to Break the Sky", "One Piece", "Detective Conan" and other kinds of comic books are available; One Piece, Superman, Totoro, Goku, classic dolls are dazzling. Here readers can read comics, draw comics, act in comics, exhibit comics, listen to comics, talk about comics, and fully immerse themselves in the world of comics.
In 2009, the Copyright Protection and Trade Expo of China International Film and Television Animation Festival settled in Dongguan. The Comics Museum actively participated in the exhibition, edited the "Dongguan Animation" literature, and compiled the Dongguan Animation Culture and Industrial Ecology, becoming an important literature exchange product of the Comic Expo.
In 2013, the Comic Expo adopted the sub-venue system for the first time, and the library became one of the preferred sub-venues. Comics Museum actively docking industrial services, relying on the Comics Museum Industry Display Area, cooperating to build the China Animation Group Exhibition Hall, Aofei Animation Experience Hall, Wanshou Model Research Hall, Dongguan Four-Eyed Cultural Center, etc., holding bear infestation - doll meeting, Didi acne - puppet meeting, etc., to build the comic hall into an important position for the promotion of animation enterprises.
In 2020, the offline display platform of the ACTIF brand operation center under the Dongguan Comic Expo settled in the Comic Hall. With the market-oriented operation of "IP Companion" as the core project carrier, it has successively exhibited the development history of the 11th Comic Expo, the story of the exhibitors, the excellent works of the 2020 Golden Sheep Award, and more than 200 well-known IP cultural and creative peripheral exhibitions across the country, presenting the deep friendship between exhibitors and the Expo.
Dongguan historical celebrity portrait theme exhibition debuted at the Comic Expo
Dongguan's history has a long history, and generations of heroes and talents have emerged. In the exhibition hall of Dongguan Comics Library of this expo, you can have a glimpse of the true appearance of celebrity comics portraits in Guanyi.
Jiang Guangnai, a famous anti-Japanese general, Lun Ming, a collector of modern and contemporary Chinese books, Rong Geng, a paleographer, Lin Keming, a pioneer of modern Chinese architecture, Chen Jingkai, China's first athlete to break the world weightlifting record... In order to deepen readers' understanding of Dongguan city celebrities and inherit the spirit of Dongguan City, which dares to be the first and be pragmatic and enterprising, Dongguan Library launched the "Guanyi Story - Dongguan Historical Celebrity Portrait Exhibition", inviting domestic portrait comic artists to create 20 cartoon portraits of Dongguan city celebrities, with the intention of promoting the cultural spirit of Dongguan city through comic humor, exaggerated and deformed art style.
The literature of Dongguan Comics Library will be fully presented
Literature is the foundation of library work, and research is the support for career development and an extension of library value. Relying on the accumulation of comic literature, the cultivation of professional librarians in the library, and the sincere cooperation with forces outside the library, the manga museum has accumulated rich literature research results, which will also be exhibited at this year's Comic Expo.
It is reported that the "Comic Literature Overview" series, the "Picture Book Literature Overview" series, in cooperation with the Department of Information Management of Peking University, the School of Information Management of Wuhan University, and the Department of Information Management of South China Normal University, have edited and published the "Animation Literature Research" series, "Research on Animation Services in Public Libraries", "Construction and Service of Animation Resources in Foreign Libraries", "Publication and Distribution of European and American Comic Literature" and other public library animation service "textbooks", "Research Series of Comic Masters" and "Chinese Modern and Contemporary Comic Artists" will be exhibited.
In addition, the well-known cartoonist and illustrator C Sauce masterpiece "41 cm of Super Happiness" series of comics will also meet with everyone. On Saturday, November 20 at 15:00, the well-known cartoonist C Sauce Sauce will visit Dongguan Comics Library and invite you to enter her comic world together.
