Tao Bowu (1900-1996), formerly known as Wen, Zi Bowu, Beibei Baihu Sanren, a native of Pengze County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, a master of Chinese poetry, calligraphy and painting, and Yu Poetry is also outstanding.
In 1926, he was admitted to the Nanjing Academy of Fine Arts and studied calligraphy and painting from Mr. Shen Xiqiao, Liang Zhizhi and Xie Gongzhan Zhu. In 1929, he was admitted to the Shanghai Changming Fine Arts College, where he studied calligraphy and painting from Mr. Huang Binhong, Wang Yiting, Pan Tianshou, Zhu Wenyun, He Tianjian, etc., and poetry from Mr. Cao Huochao.
