Hong Kong, November 20 (China News Network) Based on the common vision of serving Hong Kong's education cause, United Publishing (Group) Co., Ltd. and the Hong Kong Federation of Educators held a strategic cooperation framework agreement signing ceremony on November 20, and the important project "Teachers' Life Hall" jointly built by the two sides will be officially opened on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland.
Tan Tieniu, deputy director of the Liaison Office of the Central Government in Hong Kong, Mao Chaofeng, chairman of the Bauhinia Cultural Group, Wu Baoan, director of the Bauhinia Cultural Group, Jiang Jianxiang, director of the Education Department of the Liaison Office of the Central Government in Hong Kong, Zhang Guoyi, deputy director of the Propaganda and Cultural Affairs Department, and Cai Ruolian, deputy director of the Education Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government, attended the signing ceremony.
In his speech, Mao Chaofeng said that young people are the future of the country and the future of Hong Kong. The healthy growth of adolescents is a major concern of society and the family, and it is also the common responsibility of cultural and educational institutions. At present, the central government supports Hong Kong's active integration into the overall national development situation and the development strategy of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and finds its positioning and plays a more active role in the overall national development situation. He hoped that the United Publishing Group and the Hong Kong Federation of Educators would further strengthen cooperation, serve Hong Kong's educational undertakings and the vast number of teachers and students wholeheartedly, and make new and greater contributions to the steady and far-reaching development of "one country, two systems" and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
Tan Tieniu said in his speech that since the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the central authorities have taken a series of measures to treat both the symptoms and the root causes, firmly implementing the "patriots governing Hong Kong", the situation in Hong Kong has achieved a major turning point from chaos to governance, Hong Kong education has continued to correct chaos, and the education system adapted to "one country, two systems" has been continuously improved. In this context, Bauhinia Cultural Group actively participates in Hong Kong's cultural and educational undertakings, reflecting the feelings and responsibilities of central cultural enterprises for Hong Kong's education work. He put forward three expectations for the cooperation between the two sides: first, seize the opportunity of cooperation to provide strong support for the development of patriotic and Hong Kong-loving education forces; second, uphold the concept of service to provide a solid guarantee for the cohesion of the hearts and minds of the education community; third, make good use of high-quality resources to create a one-stop platform for the life service and cultural experience of the Hong Kong education community.
In her speech, Cai Ruolian said that after the completion of the "Teachers' Life Hall", there will be a one-stop education and cultural service center for teachers in Hong Kong, where co-workers can not only share and communicate professionally, but also participate in different types of leisure activities and enjoy various services, which is a great news for teachers.
Fu Weizhong, chairman of United Publishing Group, said in his speech that he looks forward to working closely with the Hong Kong Federation of Educators to jointly build the largest "Teachers' Life Hall" in Hong Kong.
In his speech, Wong Kwan Yu, President of the Hong Kong Federation of Educators, introduced that the Teachers' Life Hall is located in the Beauty Building in Mong Kok, which will have a teacher shopping area to provide members with stationery, electrical appliances, food, daily necessities and other services at preferential prices, and will also hold different types of activities to take care of teachers' professional development needs and enrich the fun of life in leisure time.
Li Jiping, Vice Chairman and President of United Publishing Group, and Wong Kam-leung, Chairman of the Hong Kong Federation of Educators, signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement on behalf of both parties.
