We all know that in order to win a war, in addition to frontal battlefield combat, intelligence work behind enemy lines is also indispensable. The soldiers who were engaged in intelligence work at that time faced a much easier situation than on the front line, and once they accidentally exposed their identities, they would face endless interrogation and torture from the enemy. They hid their names in the battlefield behind enemy lines and paid great sacrifices for the success of the revolutionary cause.
There was an intelligence officer who worked behind enemy lines, whose name was only known after his death, but the work he did continued throughout the revolutionary years. This person's name is Fan Ming, and he said that the direct leader of the chairman is a well-deserved ace undercover, only with the chairman's one-line contact, and the name Fan Ming is only a pseudonym of his.
Fan Ming's original name was Hao Keyong, in fact, his family background is quite superior, his father Hao Pengcheng and Yang Hucheng are brothers, and their reputation resounds throughout the northwest military circles. However, Hao Keyong did not choose a stable life because of his origin; to everyone's surprise, Hao Keyong left his giants and jumped into the vigorous revolutionary tide.
The reason why Hao Keyong did this was mainly due to the influence of his brother Hao Kejun. In less than 5 years since the founding of the party, Hao Kejun has already become an underground worker of our party, and he has also let revolutionary ideas affect his brothers. When Hao Keyong went to Shanghai with his brother to study, he joined the Chinese Communist Youth League.
After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan, Hao Keyong became more and more aware that only our party could save China from danger. Therefore, he began to propagate the idea of resisting Japan and saving the country in the northern region of our country and the ideas of our Party. As the results of his work began to show, he also completed his joining ceremony in Yan'an, the holy land of revolution, and became one of the official members of the party organization.
When the 38th Army of the Nationalist Army was formed, our party learned that the new commander was Zhao Shoushan, an old subordinate of Yang Hucheng, and thinking about the relationship between Hao Keyong's family and Yang Hucheng, after talking about the discussion, we made a decision to send Hao Keyong to serve as a political instructor of the teaching brigade of the 38th Army, so as to complete a secret task. This can be called the beginning of Hao Keyong's special agent task, that is, to form a party branch within the 38th Army and develop organizational members to strengthen the strength of the party organization.
Zhao Shoushan took good care of Hao Keyong, which made Hao Keyong's work very smooth. By the end of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Hao Keyong had secretly recruited a large number of officers to join our party, and there were more than six hundred soldiers. The 38th Army has almost been controlled by our Party, and even Zhao Shoushan has the idea of joining the Party, and this change in the army has naturally aroused Chiang Kai-shek's suspicions.
In order to prevent a great change in the 38th Army, he mobilized several troops and the 38th Army to camp together, ostensibly saying nothing, but privately ordering Tombaugh to keep an eye on the 38th Army. Zhao Shoushan naturally sensed the change in the situation, and he asked Hao Keyong to quickly report the situation to the party organization and convey his willingness to join the party to the party organization.
After Hao Keyong rushed to Yan'an to convey the news, the party organization attached great importance to it, and the chairman personally received Hao Keyong many times. After Hao Keyong returned to the 38th Army, he was fully responsible for all the work of the Working Committee. Although Tang Enbo still stared at the 38th Army to death, Hao Keyong has been working hard to develop party members. In early 1944, Chiang Kai-shek finally couldn't resist taking action against the 38th Army, and he sent his close associate Zhang Yaoming to replace Zhang Shoushan as the new commander of the 38th Army.
As soon as Zhang Yaoming took office, he was ready to take the most obvious 17th Division to open the knife first, and after Receiving instructions from the party organization, Hao Keyong immediately held a meeting to organize the Luoning Uprising, allowing the 17th Division to break away from the 38th Army and join our party. His identity has not been revealed, he has been lurking in the 38th Army, and in 1946 he organized the 55th Division to abandon the dark and surrender to the Light, and led the Hengshan Uprising.
Not long after the victory of the War of Resistance, after the Liberation War began, Hao Keyong returned to the embrace of the organization, and then followed the Northwest Field Army to various places and participated in many battles; in 1955, Hao Keyong was awarded the rank of major general. Hao Keyong also proposed to the chairman that he wanted to restore his original name, but the chairman suggested that he should keep the name that was already well known, and he followed the chairman's suggestion and used "Fan Ming" when awarding the title.
The chairman spoke highly of Hao Keyong, believing that he embodied the qualities that an excellent party member should have. There are countless people like Hao Keyong who have been active within the enemy army and engaged in counter-insurgency work during that time, and Hao Keyong is one of the few lucky people who can survive to the end, many of these unsung heroes died in obscurity, and they are the most worthy of our admiration.
