"Creation" is the most precious idea left to us by Mr. Tao Xingzhi. This year marks the 130th anniversary of Tao Xingzhi's birth, and Shanghai Xingzhi Experimental Middle School in Baoshan held the first Creation Festival with the theme of "Low-carbon Life And Creative Arts Market" and unveiled the "Creation Hall" that exhibited students' works, which stirred up the spark of creation on campus and provided a stage for students to display their talents and let their creativity fly.
Prepare before the festival with a double wave of hands and brains
In order to ensure the smooth holding of the first creation festival, the classes of Xingzhi Experimental Middle School formed a preparatory group integrating publicity, planning and logistics. From determining the theme of each class to assembling the poster stand, the students have developed a skill of being able to communicate and cooperate.

Xingzhi Experimental Middle School takes the creation festival as an opportunity to return the initiative of learning to students and provide a platform for students to imagine. At the Creation Festival, the themes of the booths of each class can be described as colorful: green plants, fans, paper umbrellas, plush toys, digital oil paintings, the evolution of pens, cars, film technology, printing, maintenance centers... All of them embody the concept of low carbon, life, science and technology, and innovation, which opened the eyes of the students.

A 12-meter picture scroll was also prepared for the students to doodle. They freely express their feelings and thoughts on the canvas, sharing each other's "masterpieces", and the young painters use their infinite imagination and creativity to create a colorful world.
Create value and warm society
Mr. Tao Xingzhi educates to save the country and loves the world; the students of Xingzhi Experimental School use wisdom to create value, and small objects pass on great love. The school cooperated with the "Shanghai Love on the Road Public Welfare Development Center" and purchased 962 popular science books. The students packed their own books, pinned their friendship and concern on the books, and donated them to Shishi Primary School in Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, the Third Shop School and Tonghe Primary School in Dingxi City, Gansu Province. In addition, students wrote a box of bookmarks and postcards. With the sending of gifts, students hope that distant friends can also read books together and grow together on the road of learning.
This book donation is a continuation of the Creation Festival. On the one hand, students use creative items to create economic value and donate books to achieve social value. On the other hand, students enter the society, while giving care to others, gradually clarify their social responsibility: study hard, contribute their own strength to achieve common prosperity in the future, so that children under the same blue sky can work together and develop together.
