In order to enhance the awareness of the country's territory and safeguard the dignity of national sovereignty, we will further standardize the use of maps. Recently, the Fuyuan County Natural Resources Bureau conducted special inspections of all kinds of government offices and public venues in the county. At the same time, the subordinate natural resources sub-bureaus are required to jointly carry out comprehensive self-examination and self-correction actions in all townships (towns) and streets.

This special action focuses on the supervision and random inspection of the offices, exhibition halls, libraries, bookstores, railway stations, bus stations, high-speed rail stations, hotels, etc. of various government agencies, mainly to check whether the map products have a map number and whether there is a "problem map". In the investigation and rectification of the "problem map", the inspectors also carried out publicity and education on strengthening the awareness of the national territory, actively guided the personnel of all units to establish a correct awareness of the national territory, standardized the use of the national map, and informed the standard map of the online acquisition method, through more than 10 days of careful investigation, no use of the "problem map" phenomenon was found.

In the next step, the county's natural resources system will take this special rectification action as an opportunity to integrate the publicity and education of the "Map Management Regulations" into the supervision and daily work of the map market, establish and improve the long-term map supervision mechanism, and effectively maintain the security of geographic information. At the same time, we will strengthen the linkage with primary and secondary schools, bookstores and other departments, organize and plan colorful activities to popularize map knowledge, improve the ability of citizens to understand and use maps, and consciously safeguard the dignity of the national territory.
