Recently, many tourists have found foxes when they played at the Tanzhu Temple in Mentougou, Beijing. This fox is not only close to people, but also boldly eats the food fed by tourists, which is quite cute.

In the video posted by netizens, under the sun, a small fox covered in gold dragged a large furry tail to wander on the scenic steps. As the camera approached, the little fox was not afraid at all, and after running a few steps, he sat down leisurely. In the video, some tourists take out ham sausages to feed, and foxes eat with relish.

After the video was released, some netizens said, "Don't bother it, the fox is very smart." ”

Located in the foothills of Tanzhu Mountain in the southeast of Beijing's Western Tougou District, Tanzhu Temple and its forest and mountain fields cover an area of more than 121 hectares.

Public reports show that as early as 2017, tourists photographed foxes inside the temple. Photographs at the time included a silver fox and a red fox. Prior to this, there had been no trace of foxes in the area for many years. At that time, some experts speculated that foxes were bought from farms and released.

Tanzhu Temple staff remind that if tourists encounter foxes, hedgehogs, wild boars and other wild animals, they should pay attention to maintaining a viewing distance, do not have a hunting mentality to approach at will, so as not to cause animal injury accidents; at the same time, we must also cherish and love wild animals, abide by relevant laws and regulations, put an end to feeding, catching and harming wild animals, and maintain regional ecological balance.

Wang Mingquan, director of the Wuhan Zoo Wildlife Protection Institute, introduced that foxes are omnivores and eat anything. At present, most of the foxes that are close to humans are artificially bred or discarded as pets, and then slowly rewild, and there are very few real wild foxes.

Wang Mingquan reminded that foxes, whether wild or released, should not feed food to them, but should be allowed to accept the experience of nature, otherwise animals will form a conditioned reflex and regularly go to a fixed place to wait for feeding, violating the laws of nature.
