ZHANG Yuying, PRESIDENT OF ENN ENERGY: Top-level designs such as the Carbon Peak Action Plan point out the direction for "double carbon"

The "2021 (19th) Annual Conference Week on Competitiveness of Chinese Enterprises" was held in Beijing on November 13. ZHANG Yuying, President of ENN Energy, attended the "Zero Carbon New Pattern - 2021 China Energy Development Summit Forum" and delivered a keynote speech.

Zhang Yuying said that the state issued the work opinions on carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, and the top-level design of the carbon peak action plan has further clarified the carbon reduction measures and goals in energy and various fields, and pointed out the direction for the country to quickly promote "double carbon" in a scientific and orderly manner.

Under the "double carbon" goal, how to achieve higher quality energy transition? Zhang Yuying believes that one is to build a carbon reduction mechanism driven by the demand side to promote energy transformation; the second is to adopt a better pan-energy concept to help build a modern energy system; the third is to use digital intelligence technology as the support to realize the modernization and upgrading of the energy industry. "After years of development, ENN has been in important parks in China, including city-level and park-level, including more than 3,000 users of enterprises, and continues to build more demonstrations according to the low-carbon needs of different parks, public construction, and households." Zhang Yuying said.
