To ensure safety, we organize intensive training for staff and hotel attendants by doctors. The training lasted for more than 2 hours, and the medical staff instructed each team member to repeatedly practice putting on and taking off protective clothing until the assessment reached the standard. After training, I learned that it is very tedious and hard for medical workers to put on and take off protective clothing, which may take 1 minute to wear, but it takes 30 minutes or longer to take off protective clothing.
The working group set up three areas (polluted area, semi-polluted area, clean area) and two passages (isolation personnel passage and staff passage) in the isolation hotel. In order to improve the efficiency of isolation and control, the working group needs to put a walkie-talkie in the corridor of each floor, arrange for the reserve militia to be on duty in the hotel monitoring room, patrol in the corridor, if there are isolated personnel out of the room, the reserve militia can see from the monitoring, you can use the walkie-talkie to shout to them, and notify us to deal with it in time.
The task of borrowing a walkie-talkie was entrusted to me. I contacted Zhao Yang, the head of the Yinchuan Youth Science and Technology Counselors Association, who agreed very happily and told us with concern that we must pay attention to protection. An hour later, the walkie-talkie arrived, a total of 10 units. At the same time, two boxes of mineral water, two boxes of instant noodles, a box of milk tea and other condolences were sent. In the 2020 epidemic, Zhao Yang and his team donated various materials to fight the epidemic, comforted frontline workers, and organized more than 10 young volunteers to participate in the epidemic prevention and control work in the community. What makes me very touched is that the company run by Zhao Yang has lost hundreds of thousands of yuan because of the epidemic, and he is also concerned about the society and fully supports the isolation and control work.
Quarantined people are transported to the hotel by ambulance closed loop, and one person (or family) rides in an ambulance. When I first accepted the quarantined personnel, several ambulances suddenly came to the entrance of the quarantine hotel, and the flashing lights were particularly dazzling, which also touched the hearts of every staff member.
A group of medical workers first took the temperature of the quarantined personnel sent, inquired about their physical condition, and registered them one by one; another group of medical workers then collected nucleic acid samples from them, issued room cards and warm tips; after getting the room card, the quarantined personnel were led to the elevator entrance by a reserve militiaman; after the quarantined personnel went up to the floor, another reserve militiaman shouted from the monitoring room through the walkie-talkie to guide the quarantined persons into their rooms.
I also put on a protective suit and was mainly responsible for handing over quarantined people to ambulance drivers and assisting medical workers in verifying and confirming quarantined person information. To be honest, at the beginning, I still had some tension in my heart, after all, we isolated and controlled all the close contacts of confirmed patients. But an ambulance is gone, another ambulance is coming... Slowly, my legs were sore, my feet were numb, and my heart gradually returned to calm.
The comrades of the working group and I worked for three or four consecutive days until three or four o'clock in the morning, and some comrades could not take care of lunch, and in the blink of an eye it was time for dinner. They don't have time for a sip of water and forget about hunger and cold. Wang Zicheng, the leader of the working group, because he had to coordinate various things, answered more than 200 phone calls in half a day, and his voice became hoarse; He Yan, the head of the medical group, had to organize medical personnel to take temperatures and do nucleic acids for the isolated personnel, pay attention to and grasp the physical condition of the isolated personnel at any time, and answer and appease the isolated personnel late at night; Yang Longlong and Jin Shaopeng, the reserve militiamen, were on duty in the monitoring room for 24 hours and patrolled the corridors, and although the work they were responsible for was simple and boring, they were meticulous and silently insisted There is also Yang Shuhan, a hotel service worker who has just turned 18, just turned 18 years old, and within a few days of interning at the hotel, she caught up with this resurgent epidemic, she was not afraid of danger, not afraid of trouble, silently wearing and taking off protective clothing, insisting on delivering meals, delivering water and collecting garbage for the quarantined personnel, these experiences also made her more stable and mature.
During this time, all the members of the working group have stood firm in their respective posts, going wherever they are needed, and are on call without complaint. There is only one goal, the epidemic will not be eliminated, and no troops will be collected!
