……
The predecessor of Guangdong Zhaoqing Middle School is liangguangduanxi academy founded in the Ming Dynasty, which has been 448 years and is known as the "highest school in Xijiang".
From the founding of the academy by the first mountain chief, Li Cai, there are 34 mountain chiefs who can be examined in the historical records. Among them, in addition to Lin Zhaotang, the chief of The Zhuangyuan Mountain, there were Liang Dingfen, who impeached Li Hongzhang for six major crimes, and Lin Shaonian, who advised Cixi from using naval funds to repair the Summer Palace...
In order to promote this spirit, Zhaoqing Middle School selected six of the outstanding ones, designed and made into cast bronze statues by the Peng Cheng Sculpture Creative Team of Guangzhou Aoyuan Culture Company, and placed them on the campus of this century-old famous school.
When Li Cai was serving as an envoy to Guangdong, while directing military operations, he also taught his disciples the way of learning, which can be described as both literary and martial arts. The work has shaped the artistic image of Li Cai holding a knife in one hand, stroking a book in the other, and practicing both culture and martial arts.
Quan Zuwang did not attach himself to the powerful in his life, devoted himself to academia, and was a typical traditional knowledge molecule. The work highlights the image of a thin and handsome and extremely proud traditional literati.
The sculpture depicts Lin Zhaotang as a scholar holding a book in one hand and a pen in the other, immersed in his study.
The work shows the state of Su Tingkui's resignation and return to his hometown and his tenure as the chief of Duanxi Academy. Su Tingkui wears a hood, wears civilian clothes, holds a picture scroll, straightens his chest and chin, looks ahead, and although he is in the countryside, he still cares about the world.
The sculpture shows Liang Dingfen sitting in front of a thick stack of books, stroking the book in one hand and holding the scroll in the other.
The work shows the image of Lin Shaonian wearing an official hat and sitting precariously. In the work, Lin Shaonian is not angry and arrogant, and has a solemn and solemn atmosphere.
