On September 30th, on the occasion of the National Day, the Shenzhen Overseas Friendship Association, the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Community Association and the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Youth Federation jointly initiated the "Hand in Hand Forward" - Shenzhen and Hong Kong Youth Growth Plan was launched simultaneously in 15 venues in Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Among them, the Longgang branch venue held a launching ceremony at The Ping'anli School in Longgang District.
It is reported that the plan aims to promote extensive exchanges, comprehensive exchanges and in-depth integration of young people in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, mainly including "three major actions": the "Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Hand-in-Hand Action" that organizes "one-on-one" pairing of teenagers in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, attends patriotic classes, and spends traditional festivals together; the "Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Hand in Hand with Classmates Action" that supports Hong Kong youth to come to Shenzhen for internship and employment; and the "Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Hand in Hand In The Same Industry Action" that assists Hong Kong youth to innovate and start a business in Shenzhen.
At the launching ceremony, representatives of social organizations from Longgang District joined the program. Including 23 Hong Kong folk associations and Hong Kong people friendship organizations, 10 Shenzhen and Hong Kong sister schools (Shenzhen schools), 5 Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macao youth innovation and entrepreneurship bases, as well as Shenzhen Kunlun Hongxing Ice Hockey Club, Shenzhen Damei Youth Growth and Development Guidance Center, etc. Leaders of the United Front Work Department of the Longgang District CPC Committee and the Longgang District Education Bureau presented flags to the representatives of schools and clubs participating in the activity plan.
