Lin Qing was born in 1911 in Bijie County, Guizhou Province, to poor peasant parents and a very poor family. Due to his family's poverty, Lin Qing's parents had no choice but to send his son to the Zhihe Department Store in the county town as an apprentice when he was 13 years old, hoping that he could learn a craft. Two years later, 15-year-old Lin Qing could not stand the abuse of his boss and fled to Chongqing alone, after which he was admitted to the Southwest Academy of Fine Arts with his own efforts. During his time at school, he was influenced by progressive ideas and progressed rapidly.
In 1927, the success of the Northern Expedition was frequently reported, and the national revolutionary wave also rose and fell, continuing continuously.
On March 31, outside the Tongyuan Gate of Chongqing, Lin Qing actively participated in the rally to protest imperialism, but he did not expect that this activity was ruthlessly suppressed by the warlords, which made Lin Qing personally experience the cruelty of the warlords, and the seeds of resistance buried in his heart began to sprout.
In 1929, Lin Qing joined the Youth League and officially embarked on the revolutionary road.
After 1930, Lin Qing came to Shanghai, the front line of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, and worked in the Hudong Youth League District Committee under the arrangement of the regiment organization. At that time, he actively contacted his fellow villagers in Guizhou in Shanghai, organized a progressive music club, and organized to sing anti-Japanese songs in workers' residential areas as soon as he had time, and propagated progressive ideas among the people.
In 1931, Lin Qing officially joined the party, this year, he was 20 years old.
Lin Qing's active anti-Japanese activities easily attracted the attention of the enemy.
In 1932, because he was framed by the enemy, Lin Qing was arrested by the British Concession Patrol House and sentenced to two years in prison. However, in the second year after being imprisoned, Lin Qing was unexpectedly granted amnesty and released from prison early.
However, after being released from prison, Lin Qing could not get in touch with the organization for a while. So he invited Miao Zhengyuan, a former like-minded fellow villager, to return to his hometown of Bijie to continue his revolutionary activities.
Far away on the Guizhou Plateau, Bijie, the anti-Japanese rescue activities are also in full swing. As soon as Lin Qing, who had left his hometown for many years, returned, he immediately threw himself into the wave of anti-Japanese salvation in his hometown.
In 1934, Lin Qing and three other party members established a party branch in Bijie, and Lin Qing served as the secretary of the party branch, which was the first branch of the party established in Guizhou. In this year, the Bijie Anti-Japanese Salvation Activity led by Lin Qing was vigorously developed, and he organized the progressive Bijie Grassland Art Research Society to bring the people closer together through literature and art, and promote the development of the salvation movement from the side, and Lin Qing's active activities once again aroused the hatred of reactionary warlords.
Due to the dangerous situation, Lin Qing and others were forced to leave Bijie and move to safer places such as Anshun and Guiyang to continue their revolutionary activities.
In 1935, the party organization instructed Lin Qing and others to form the Guizhou Provincial Working Committee of the Communist Party of China, with Lin Qing as secretary and secretary of the Zunyi County PARTY Committee. Since then, the underground party organization in Guizhou has directly accepted the leadership of the party central committee.
On July 19 of the same year, Lin Qing and Liu Maolong, a member of the Provincial Working Committee, were unfortunately arrested.
The night the enemy captured Lin Qing and Liu Maolong, they vainly tried to bribe these two young party members through sugar-coated shells and high-ranking officials Houlu. However, in the face of the enemy's temptation, the two were not at all moved.
Immediately afterwards, the enemy tortured them in all kinds, but they still could not pry open their mouths.
In fact, Lin Qing originally had the hope of escape, but he gave up this hope to Liu Maolong, who fought side by side. After the two were put on death row, there was an underground party member among the prison guards who guarded the death row who could help them escape, but a guard could only escort one prisoner at a time, which also meant that of the two of them, only one could be rescued first. Faced with the choice of life and death, Lin Qing and Liu Maolong both competed to leave the hope of life to each other.
Lin Qingxian said to Liu Maolong: "I stay, you go first, you have strong organizational ability, and after you go out, it will be more beneficial to the party's cause." ”
Liu Maolong said to Lin Qing: "You are the secretary of the Guizhou Party, and you can only play a greater role after you go out." ”
Not long after, Lin Qing and Liu Maolong were detained separately, and Liu Maolong was guarded by the underground party member, and he successfully escaped from prison one day by night.
Lin Qing, on the other hand, faced the fierce enemy alone. On September 11, 1935, the crazy enemy decided to attack Lin Qing. Lin Qing, on the other hand, remained unyielding and faced death with great righteousness.
Lin Qing died tragically, only 24 years old, and he used his passionate youth to compose the short life of a determined revolutionary.

In 2018, the Lin Qing Memorial Hall in Bijie City was completed, and many people spontaneously came to visit every year to commemorate the revolutionary martyr Comrade Lin Qing.
