Song Guangzong Zhao Wei

Emperor Guangzong of Song (30 September 1147 – 17 September 1200), the twelfth emperor of the Song Dynasty and the third emperor of the Southern Song Dynasty, (reigned 18 February 1189 – 24 July 1194), a native of Qiantang County, Lin'an Province (present-day Hangzhou, Zhejiang), the third son of Emperor Xiaozong of Song, and his mother was Empress Guo of Chengmu.

On September 30, 1147 , Shaoxing was born in the residence of Emperor Xiaozong. In the twentieth year of Shaoxing (1150), he was given the name Zhao Huan (赵惇), and was given the right guard to lead the deputy governor of the government, and transferred to the history of Rongzhou. After Emperor Xiaozong of Song ascended the throne, he was given the title of King Gong of The Prince of Gong . In the seventh year of Qiandao (1171), he was made crown prince. In the sixteenth year of Chunxi (1189), he was enthroned as emperor by Emperor Xiaozong of Song and changed his name to Yuan Shaoxi. In the fifth year of Shaoxi (1194), Zen was located in the second son Zhao Kuo, who became the Emperor Taishang, and was known in history as "Shaoxi Neichan".

On September 17, 1200, he died at Shoukang Palace at the age of 54, with the title of Emperor Xianren Shengzhe Cixiao (陳孝帝) and the temple number Guangzong (光宗), buried in Yongchongling. In the third year of Jiatai (1203), he was given the title of Emperor Wenwen Shunwu of The Way Xian Ren Ming Gong Mao De Wen Shun Wu Shengzhe Cixiao.

At the beginning of Zhao Huan's succession to the throne, he did have the intention of reforming the old and the new, and he was able to listen to the advice of his subordinates, and also dismissed some unscrupulous people. However, he was "jealous of the palace" and was afraid of the serious internal psychology, so that the government was abandoned in the later period; he also listened to rumors and alienated the Taishang Emperor Zhao Xuan, causing a political crisis in the Southern Song Dynasty. During the five years of Zhao Wei's reign, the achievements of the "rule of Qianchun" gradually faded, and the Southern Song Dynasty began to turn from prosperity to decline.
