South Korean female artist Lee Hyun Bin was recently sued by the original agency WELLMADE STAR Entertainment for 500 million won.
Li Xianbin signed a subsidiary agreement with WELLMADE STAR Entertainment in 2016. Later, Li Xianbin unilaterally terminated his cooperation with WELLMADE STAR Entertainment in September 2018. The main appeal of WELLMADE STAR Entertainment Company sued Li Xianbin is to let Li Xianbin take out 500 million won of revenue from the two years to pay WELLMADE STAR Entertainment Company in accordance with the original agreement of ownership.
Wellmade STAR Entertainment's legal representative said the company has exercised restraint in the past two years and hoped that Li Xianbin would abide by the agreement between the two sides, which has been ignored by Li Xianbin. WELLMADE STAR Entertainment has abandoned the settlement with Li Xianbin, and will resolve the dispute with Li Xianbin through a series of legal means such as seizing the film remuneration in the future.
