When I first came to the mountain, everyone found that there was no five-star red flag, and where could I find a national flag on this inaccessible plateau? When everyone was at a loss, non-commissioned officer Jin Peng said, "Let's draw a side by ourselves!" Having studied painting, he found paint and dropped it little by little comparing the appearance of the national flag on his mobile phone. The cold outside quickly froze the paint, and the hand holding the pen could not help but tremble, and it took a day to finish the painting. Every Monday morning, everyone swears in front of the flag. With the five-star red flag, the morale of officers and men stationed at the border passes on the plateau has been even higher, and the sense of sacredness of guarding the national territory has also become stronger.

In their spare time, the detachment took advantage of the local conditions to fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the personnel and carry out various competitions, physical training, and cultural and sports activities.
