A few days ago, she and the contestant Zhou Xia had just completed the task of visiting and receiving during the eleventh period, and rushed to Beijing non-stop to participate in the red story explainer competition of the whole army "continuing the blood line and determined to strengthen the army".
"After ten years in the Gobi Desert, I never thought that one day I could stand on the stage of CCTV to show myself, promote the red story and the spirit of the East Wind, from 47 into 20, from 20 to 10, today finally harvested the most heavy trophy and honorary certificate in my life." This honor belongs not only to me, but also to the whole team. Zhou Xia, the winner of the "Gold Medal Volunteer Docent", said happily with flowers in one hand and a trophy in the other.
In the past month, she has memorized the manuscript hundreds of times a day, and the exhibition halls, stadiums, and street groves have left her hard work everywhere, and when she returned home at night, she practiced "typhoon" in front of the mirror over and over again.
In the past few days in Beijing, she and Li Xiaoyan often fought for the content, feelings, and expressions of the manuscript. "We have only one goal, that is, to be able to tell the story well on stage and carry forward the spirit of astronauts."
Since October 6, Zhou Xia, as a contestant, gathered in Beijing with 46 other players carefully selected by major units and departments of the Central Military Commission, and after intense preliminary competition, she finally advanced to the final with a 9th place result, competing with other players for the supreme honor of gold volunteer docent.
"The first time I stood on such a big stage to compete with the outstanding players selected by the major units, I was very nervous, and no matter what, I would cherish this opportunity and play my best level." When asked how the game felt, Zhou Xia said.
To this end, Zhou Xia put down the pressure and went all out to work the explanation. Because the recitation explanation is rigid and rigid, it is necessary to integrate the protagonist with himself, to feel and play, in order to achieve the effect of moving yourself and moving others. As a result, she stood in front of the mirror every day to practice her state and find feelings, and was deeply moved by the characters in the story many times, and shed tears several times. It is understood that the competition has three links: personal display, self-selected explanation and knowledge quizzes. Among them, the explanation session is only 6 minutes, and in such a short period of time, it is difficult to tell a story well and reflect a spirit. The knowledge quiz session was conducted in the form of on-site lottery questions, which involved the glorious history of our party and our army, and also put forward very high requirements for the knowledge reserves of the players.
At the same time, in order to ensure the fairness and impartiality of the competition, the organizing committee adopts the method of on-site scoring by the judges and announcing the results by the host on the spot to update the ranking immediately. According to the overall score ranking, 5 gold medal docents and gold medal volunteer docents will be selected, 5 excellent docents and 5 excellent volunteer docents will be selected, and 10 gold medal docents will be qualified to participate in the national competition.
On October 12, the final of the red story explainer contest of the whole army "continuing the blood and determined to strengthen the army" was solemnly held in the Radio and Television Department of the People's Liberation Army News and Communication Center.
Zhou Xia put down her burdens, presented her best state to the stage, and finally won the glorious title of "Gold Medal Volunteer Explainer" of the whole army with a good result of 2nd place, and will participate in the next National Red Story Explainer Competition held in Shanghai.
"I am extremely proud to be a volunteer docent in an exhibition hall with a rich history of 61 years, and there is a touching story behind any picture or cultural relic here, and I am often touched by these stories.
