"Pushkin is everything we have"

Kasyanova said that the Russian poet Alexander. Pushkin was born on June 6. Kasyanova said: "We owe it to him that the modern Russian language we are currently using is founded. It was Pushkin who established the norms of the Russian language and gave it world significance. ”

Chinese know Pushkin's name began in 1900, first mentioned in the "Examination of Russian Politics and Customs" published by the school journal of the Shanghai Guangdong Society in China, and translated into Chinese's book "The Captain's Daughter" in 1903. This book is not only the first work of Pushkin to be translated into Chinese, but also the first masterpiece of Russian literature to be published in a single volume, which became the starting point for the translation and dissemination of Russian literature in China.

The door to pushkin's literary world was thus opened in China, and the study of Pushkin's literature by Chinese scholars, students and ordinary people was also deepened. For example, Pushkin's famous poem "If Life Deceives You" was included in Chinese primary and secondary school language textbooks and became one of the classic works.

"Russia has such a saying that Pushkin is everything to us." Kasyanova said of Pushkin. She believes that Pushkin's literary heritage is extremely deep, and his works bring together readers of all ages, all faiths and all nationalities.

Pushkin's literary creations accompanied the Russians throughout their lives. Kasyanova said: "We have become familiar with Pushkin's fairy tales since we have not yet learned to read; When I was in elementary and middle school, I would recite Pushkin's works, and even in my daily life, I would often quote his poems: "Cold and sun, good day!" "

Russian is becoming one of the most promising foreign languages in China

The 6th is also the "Russian Language Day" established by the United Nations. Russian is one of the six official languages of the United Nations. In order to support and develop linguistic and cultural diversity, at the United Nations Conference held in February 2010, the decision to organize the Official Language Day of the United Nations was adopted and 6 June was designated as "Russian Language Day".

The Russian Cultural Center in Beijing has special training courses at different levels for Chinese who are interested in the Russian language and are willing to learn it, and also introduces the rich traditions and culture of Russia to the Chinese people. On the stage of the art center, different genres and themes of art have been performed, including folk music, folk dances, orchestras, solos, classical music and rock music, and children from all over Russia have also participated here.

Kasyanova is one of the people who feel the Russian language and Russian culture most deeply promoted in China, she said that the teaching of Russian in China began more than 300 years ago. Today, with the development of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the economic, military and political fields, Russian is becoming one of the most promising foreign languages in China, especially in the northern region of China, which is geographically close to Russia, where surveys show that about 74% of the residents want to learn Russian.

Kasyanova also said that the older generation has always been interested in the Russian language. In addition, she was especially happy whenever she met young Chinese people at a Russian language training class at the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing. Kasyanova believes that the main role of the development of the Russian language in China is that Chinese learning Russian can better understand Russian culture, understand The characteristics of Russia, history, traditions, the process of modernization and the various things that have happened in Russia.

The russian and Chinese people are increasingly interested in learning each other's languages

"With the development of Russian-Chinese relations, the residents of the two countries are increasingly interested in learning Chinese and Russian. In the past two decades, interest in learning the Russian (Chinese) language has increased dramatically. Kasyanova said that there are many people in China and Russia who are currently learning Russian and Chinese, although for the people of the two countries, Russia and China have a certain difficulty in cultural differences and linguistic complexity.

Kasyanova believes that the cultural dialogue between Russia and China helps to understand each other's worldviews and values, and helps to enhance trust and friendship between the two peoples.

Kasyanova said: "Obviously, without people-to-people exchanges, it is impossible to promote cooperation in the political or economic fields. She believes that by improving each other's understanding of the cultures, histories and traditions of the two countries, the russian and Chinese people have begun to look at the world with a broader vision, better understand the various events that are happening in the world, and look at the same things from different perspectives.

"I hope that all of this will enable the younger generation to maintain and carry forward the common achievements of Russia and China." History tells us that relations with neighboring countries largely determine the development and prosperity of those countries. Kasyanova said.
