The unreasonable recall system in the mouth of the Green Camp today is caused by the retaliatory revision of the "law" after the DPP's first "full government" against the failure to depose Cai Zhengyuan. Before the revision of the "law", the threshold for passing the recall was originally the "double two-one system", which meant that there must be a majority of the voter turnout and the consent of the voters in order to succeed in the recall. However, due to the amendment of the "law" by others, the DPP abolished the voting rate threshold on the grounds that the recall stipulation must have a majority of the voter turnout and regarded those who did not vote as unreasonable in opposing the recall. The threshold for recall will be significantly lowered to a relative majority, and the number of agreed votes reached 1/4 of the total number of electors can be successfully recalled.
Today, it can be said that the CAUSE of the DPP's planting has tasted the bitter fruit by Chen Baiwei! However, the DPP rashly attributes the success of the recall case to the lack of a system, fearing that it will underestimate the wisdom of the people. Because the revision of the recall threshold is all due to the DPP's one-party selfishness, now, the DPP in turn blames the system itself, which only shows the essence of the DPP's inability to lose!
Spreading out the results of the current "legislator" election, there are more "legislators" than Chen Baiwei who are more narrowly victorious than Chen Baiwei, and it is also very likely that there will be a contradiction between the minority vetoing the majority in the green camp. But why hasn't the so-called retaliatory recall been launched so far? The main key is still due to the controversy between Chen Baiwei's personal style and political performance, and the rapid accumulation of resonance with those who agree to the recall through media dissemination. In fact, the contradiction in the DPP's mouth is nothing more than a diversion of the strength of the whole party, and there is still no way to help Chen escape the fig leaf of dismissal. The DPP tries to describe the situation and results of different elections in a contextualized manner, cleverly avoiding the difference between the combined election and the single election, in order to cover up the embarrassing fate of the Tsai administration's unpopular administration and being devoured by public opinion.

To be fair, although Chen Baiwei was deposed, with the efforts of the "Radical Progressive Party" or Chen, it is absolutely impossible to have the strength to win more than 70,000 votes in the second constituency of Taichung. It shows that Chen Baiwei has successfully used this recall to force the DPP to turn its past secret assistance to the "Radical Progressive Party" into explicit assistance. In the next multi-seat election of local parliamentarians, the "Radical Progressive Party" is bound to eat THE DPP tofu again and seize the number of parliamentarian seats that the Green Camp deserves.
On the other hand, the DPP, only because it was unwilling to admit defeat and stop its losses, finally became the master of the matter and was unable to leave the battlefield of anti-recall for a long time. Originally a matter of local self-determination, the DPP wanted to raise it into a blue-green showdown. As everyone knows, Xiao Lu is parasitizing the DPP, absorbing the DPP's political capital, and stealing political interests by opening the Pandora box of recall.
