Previously, we reported that Ubisoft registered the "Prince of Persia 6" domain name, or will announce new works. Recently, foreign players found a live demonstration of "Prince of Persia Redemption" cancelled by Ubisoft on YouTube, which was uploaded in 2012 and discovered 8 years later. From the video, you can see the battle screen and game scene of "Prince of Persia: Redemption", which, if developed, will be a masterpiece, but unfortunately it was cancelled by Ubisoft.

Former Ubisoft animator Jonathan Cooper confirmed the authenticity of Prince of Persia: Redemption, which he worked on from 2010 to 2011. He said Prince of Persia: Redemption was created by Ubisoft Montreal and brought inspiration to Assassin's Creed 3.

Jonathan Cooper also revealed that the reason why "Prince of Persia: Redemption" was cancelled by Ubisoft was because Jordan Mechner, the original author of "Prince of Persia", still retained the game rights, which made Ubisoft's profits lower.

That's why the real-machine demo of "Prince of Persia: Redemption" has not been discovered until now, and some netizens believe that the demo was not public until recently. Two years ago, Ubisoft developer Marc-André Belleau left a message asking where the uploader got the demo and uploaded it to YouTube.
