Even so, I dare not change the water in my fish tank, even if I know that I have extremely lazy procrastination, but I will do this thing sooner or later, just because I can observe more according to the status and water quality of the ornamental fish.
Once found, they have been unable to hold back, that is, lazy, that is, they must change the water, otherwise the ornamental fish may have to worry about their lives.
In fact, I also found that many aquarists are as lazy as me, and do not like to have nothing to do, just change the water for ornamental fish, even if it is a regular change of water, they can not do it, they can drag a day is a day, therefore, there are many fish friends who have been raising fish for many years and have not changed the water.
That being said, is this possibility?
Not impossible, but there must be some prerequisites, I roughly summarized, at least to follow the four major operating principles:
The so-called lazy, we must have lazy capital, this first capital that can make us lazy, must be low-density breeding.
The reason why I am lazy is that I dare to be lazy.
It is because the density of their ornamental fish feeding is very low, very low, very low, not only too lazy to change the water, but also too lazy to transform the filtration system, as long as I see those so-called filter pipes that turn around, I began to have a headache, I am not strong, there is only one tube in each fish tank, so I will see very clearly, immediately clear and refreshing.
Therefore, in my fish tank, but where there is a filter cotton, filter material, ornamental fish can be on the spot, the feeding density must be reduced, and then reduced, reduced to even if the power is cut off for a day, we are not afraid of anything.
Because the water body of the fish tank is larger, the indoor temperature has also begun to increase effectively, even if it is a lot of warmed tropical ornamental fish, the power outage for several hours, the cooling of the fish tank will not be very large.
These ornamental fish of mine are often faced with the situation of changing the water once a month, or just adding a little water a month, and at present, they can also grow well.
Although I don't like to use my brain, time and effort to transform the more complex filtration system of the fish tank, this does not mean that the complex filtration system and biochemical filter media do not have their existence.
I can't say that, what I'm talking about is only about my fish tank and my fish farming patterns, and the more skinny ornamental fish varieties I raise, and doesn't represent any other aquarists' feeding methods.
It does not mean that in the future I raise other high-end fish, will not go to the transformation of the fish tank filter, even if lazy, as long as the high-grade fish, it forces us to improve, this is the last word.
After all, the water quality of the fish tank is very good, if the feeding density of ornamental fish is larger, the strong filtration system is the guarantee of continuous and stable water quality.
Therefore, our ornamental fish feeding density is too large, or they are lazy, do not want to always change the water so frequently, then, a strong filtration system, it must be worth having, but this is only, can be appropriately extended water change time.
In addition to the low-density rearing of ornamental fish, we all know that it exists in the fish tank, and the toxins we know at present, including ammonia nitrogen, nitrite, etc., which rely on the two major flora of the nitrification system can easily get it done.
But even so, the final product, nitrate, can not be effectively removed, in the case of its high content, it will still be reversed to nitrite, and nitrate is something that plants can effectively absorb.
This brings us to the grass tank and the like, with green plants as the mainstay, ornamental fish as a supplement to the way of fish farming, in such a fish tank, the feeding density of ornamental fish is actually very low, otherwise, it will also involve a variety of toxin imbalance problems, moreover, it is not completely unnecessary to change the water.
Plants also have a barbaric growth period, algae may also burst the tank at any time, these problems still need us to continue to deal with, and maintain the ecological balance of the entire fish tank, that is, moderate water replacement is still needed.
The last point is a matter of chewing words, I have never changed the water for my fish tank, I just add water or add water moderately when the water in the fish tank evaporates.
This is also possible, but in this case, it may not be possible to fully metabolize the various effective toxins in the fish tank, and it is still dependent on low-density feeding or green plants or a more powerful filtration system.
To a certain extent, if the accumulation of toxins exceeds the standard, ornamental fish will have various problems.
Of course, it is still that sentence, for example, I raise a tiger skin fish or other small fish in a two-meter fish tank, with the product of its own metabolism, I want to produce such a large water body toxins to it to burst, this possibility, within a year or two may not be able to achieve, this is the benefit of low-density breeding ornamental fish.
This is just an analogy.
Therefore, to not change the water to the fish tank, depending on our personal time and temper, as well as the above many factors, which will also involve water temperature, air pressure, feeding and other problems, many ornamental fish in fish shops, the reason why the water quality is maintained very well, is that the amount of feeding is less, the amount of feeding is less, naturally, the metabolite of ornamental fish is less.
I can also tell you that my ornamental fish do not need to change the water all year round, the big deal is that I feed them once every three or five days, there is nothing to add some water, a fish tank only raises one fish, and then tell everyone, I am feeding every day, feeding eight times a day, I have not changed the water for them at all, see how good the water quality of my fish tank is?
What does this mean?
Does this show that my fish farming level is high, or does it show that my character is more noble?
