Beijing News Express According to the official WeChat message of the Tibet Autonomous Region Discipline Inspection Commission, Zhao Tao, member of the party committee and deputy director of the Tibet Autonomous Region Public Security Department, is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision and investigation by the Tibet Autonomous Region Discipline Inspection Commission's Supervision Commission because he is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law.

Zhao Tao's resume

Zhao Tao, male, Tibetan, native of Tai'an, Shandong, born in December 1970, joined the Communist Party of China in September 1994, joined the work in July 1991, graduate degree from the Central Party School.

From September 1988 to July 1991, he studied statistics in the Department of Finance and Economics of Tibet University for Nationalities.

From July 1991 to January 1994, he served as a section member of the People's Procuratorate of Lhasa City, Tibet Autonomous Region;

From January 1994 to April 1995, he served as a deputy section assistant procurator of the Lhasa Municipal People's Procuratorate in the Tibet Autonomous Region;

From April 1995 to February 1999, he served as a deputy section procurator of the Lhasa Municipal People's Procuratorate in the Tibet Autonomous Region;

From February 1999 to June 2001, he served as deputy director of the Examination and Prosecution Department of the People's Procuratorate of Lhasa City, Tibet Autonomous Region (at the level of a full section, from 1997.08 to 1999.12, he studied law at the Correspondence College of the Party School of the Party Committee of the Tibet Autonomous Region);

From June 2001 to November 2002, he served as the director of the Review and Prosecution Division of the People's Procuratorate of Lhasa City, Tibet Autonomous Region (at the level of a full section);

From November 2002 to December 2008, he served as chief procurator of the People's Procuratorate of Chengguan District, Lhasa City, Tibet Autonomous Region (2002.09-2005.03, studied law at the Distance Education College of Tsinghua University);

From December 2008 to April 2011, he served as Deputy Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Bureau of Justice of Lhasa City, Tibet Autonomous Region;

From April 2011 to April 2013, he served as deputy secretary of the Nimu County Party Committee and county magistrate of the Tibet Autonomous Region;

From April 2013 to February 2016, he served as the secretary of the Linzhou County Party Committee of the Tibet Autonomous Region (2012.09-2015.07 Central Party School Graduate School on-the-job graduate class of legal theory);

From February 2016 to August 2020, he served as vice mayor of Lhasa, Tibet Autonomous Region, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and director of the Municipal Public Security Bureau;

Since August 2020, he has served as a member of the Party Committee and deputy director of the Tibet Autonomous Region Public Security Department.
