Narrator: Zhao Sha, a cadre of sunshine community in Binhe Town, Shapotou District, Zhongwei City, Ningxia
In late October, the sudden outbreak of the new crown pneumonia made the work of the community tense again. Repeated phone calls and residents' WeChat group checks have made us busier when we were understaffed.
At 6:00 a.m. on October 27, I received a notice from Shapotou District to do nucleic acid testing for urban and rural residents on October 28, and quickly got up to prepare for all work. To be honest, I have done many nucleic acid test plans before, but I really started to do nucleic acid testing, I was panicked, after all, it was the first actual battle, and I had no experience at all.

All day on October 27, we were preparing for nucleic acid testing, setting up tents, transporting supplies, contacting volunteers and medical staff, publicizing and mobilizing, posting announcements, pulling cordons, not going home for a day, eating a few mouthfuls of instant noodle pads to pad the stomach and then busy. I am the deputy director of the nucleic acid testing point in Nanyuan Community, and I have a heavy responsibility on my shoulders, nucleic acid testing is a big thing, and there can be no mistakes. That day, I was busy until more than 2 a.m., went home and slept for less than two hours, and immediately rushed to the testing point to see what else needed to be improved. After the volunteers arrived at 7 o'clock, I immediately arranged the division of labor for each volunteer to ensure that each procedure for nucleic acid testing proceeded smoothly.
It was too cold, so I took the children and the elderly to the front of the line, and the residents were very supportive and did not complain. Although I was weak with a small horn in my hand, I never stopped looking at the crowd that had been queuing up. From 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., I was busy all day with "Big White" and volunteers to maintain order on the spot, allocate supplies, test nucleic acids, and enter households to do nucleic acid for people with limited mobility. I only ate a few bites of food in the afternoon, but I didn't feel hungry.
After the two rounds of nucleic acid testing, my colleagues and I joked with each other: "These days add up, I have only slept for less than 4 hours, and I can really carry it when I am young." "In fact, it is the responsibility on our shoulders that makes us persist all the time." Although the weather is cold, but people's hearts are hot, during the nucleic acid test, caring people sent us warm soy milk and milk tea, and some residents brought me hot water bottles.
If I wasn't a community worker, where would I be? Are you anxiously waiting in the team doing nucleic acids, or are you joining the volunteer service of epidemic prevention and control? Since the outbreak of the epidemic last year, the status of the community has become more and more prominent, the community is the core area to stop the epidemic, I play a different role every day, not only is the "gatekeeper" to guard the safety of the masses, but also to provide basic security for the isolated households "purchaser" and "errand runner". These roles were given to me by the profession of community cadre, and I was recognized by the masses and brought to me by this profession. In my heart, community cadres are not only a profession, but also the people who guard the masses closest.
There is safety and health before there is poetry and far away. We are 24 hours a day, propaganda, duty, although very tired, but I am a member of the Communist Youth League, the party flag points, the league flag to the direction, I hope that every part of my youth force, can be dedicated to the peace of the side of the protection of the masses, look forward to the epidemic past, we rush to poetry and far away together.
