Baotou, 28 Feb (China News Network) -- On 28 February, this reporter learned from the Guyang County Public Security Bureau in Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, that the bureau successfully arrested Ji Moumou, a criminal suspect suspected of intentional homicide and absconding for 26 years.

In the early morning of December 28, 1995, a murder case occurred in Dai County, Shanxi Province, and the suspect Ji XX killed his cousin Guo XX with a knife because he suspected that his cousin had an improper relationship with his wife.

After the incident, the Shanxi police set up a special case team to carry out an all-out investigation, and visited many places around the social relations of Ji X, but Ji X disappeared like a human evaporation, and was later wanted by the Shanxi police online.

At the end of 2020, a suspect involved in the case reported that in 2018, a Shanxi sheep farmer may have been a fugitive from the murder case, but this person has long left Guyang and his whereabouts are unknown.

According to this clue, the Guyang police set up a special case team to carry out an investigation, and through a large number of visits, they finally found Yang Kui and found that he was most likely a fugitive from the murder case, Ji Moumou.

On February 24, the special case team arrested Ji Moumou, a criminal suspect who had absconded for 26 years, in Wuchuan County, Hohhot City.
