According to the local transportation department of Jiuzhaigou, the 28th turn is a section of Zhangda Road (Zhangzha Town to Dalu Township), there was originally no direct road, only a detour transit road, which was destroyed in the 7.0 magnitude earthquake in Jiuzhaigou on August 8, 2017.
As a post-disaster recovery and reconstruction project, the road started construction in February 2019 and was completed and accepted on December 23, 2020. The starting point of Zhangda Road is located in Sizhai, Zhangzha Town, intersecting with Chuanjiu Road, and ending at the intersection of Zhima Bridge and Jiuruo Road (Provincial Highway S445) in Dalu Township, with a total length of 67.7 kilometers, realizing the direct connection from Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area to Shenxian Pond Scenic Area.
More than 10 days ago, at the "28 turns" of Zhangda Road, workers were drawing edges and deceleration oscillation lines for the newly paved pavement.
