Fearing that drunk driving would be investigated, Zhu quickly drove away from the scene. On the afternoon of November 9, the traffic police brigade of the Xinmi City Public Security Bureau told reporters that at about 10 p.m. on October 28, the police officers of the accident squadron of the brigade, Chang Xiaoning, Zhao Shuaipeng, and others received instructions from the 110 command center to flee after hitting someone on Kaiyang Road. After the police quickly arrived at the scene, they carried the injured to the 120 ambulance and sent them to the hospital for rescue. Unfortunately, although the hospital made every effort to rescue them, it failed to save the lives of the injured.
Witnesses told reporters that he was near the scene when he suddenly heard a loud noise and saw a white off-road vehicle twisting on the road and driving straight south. Because of the suddenness of the incident, he failed to remember the number plate of the vehicle that caused the accident. The civilian police immediately reported the escape accident to the squadron and brigade step by step. Brigade leader Li Zhaoheng ordered the establishment of a special team for the detection of escape accidents headed by Deputy Brigade Leader Chen Yigang to make every effort to crack the case.
Chen Yigang asked the police to call up the surveillance video near the scene for judgment, and quickly locked a white off-road car of Yu A2K7XX, and through monitoring and tracking along the way, it was finally found that the hit-and-run car fled to Wanggou Street on Xinhua Road, and Chen Yigang immediately assigned another police officer to wanggou street to search. When the police rushed to Wanggou Street, they found that there were three men on the side of the road who were suspicious, so they went forward to inquire. Zhu Mou, who was full of alcohol, and others said that they were chatting and did not know that an accident had occurred. Under repeated interrogation by the police, Zhu looked panicked, spoke with loopholes, and finally admitted that he had driven a hit-and-run.
According to Zhu's identification, the police found the vehicle that caused the accident in a courtyard of Wanggou Street and controlled Zhu, who was drunk. After the breath alcohol test, the results showed that the alcohol content in his body was 123mg/100ml, and the police drew blood for testing according to law. After testing, the ethanol content in Zhu's blood was 129.3mg/100ml, which was a hit-and-run driving of a motor vehicle after drunkenness.
According to Zhu Mou's account, that night, he and his friends ate at a restaurant on Changle Road and drank a lot of liquor during the meal. Coming out of the hotel, he drove home alone, drunk on the way, driving to Kaiyang Road because the speed of the car was too fast, saw someone crossing the road when it was too late to brake, directly hit it. Thinking of driving drunk, afraid of being found out by the police, after the accident, he did not call the police to save people, but chose to flee the scene, did not expect that the police came so quickly.
At present, Zhu Mou has been criminally detained by the Xinmi traffic police in accordance with the law, and the case is still under further trial.
