The Yangtze and Jialing rivers have experienced numbered floods at the same time, which is the largest flood situation in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River since the floods began this year. Zhang Shiming, secretary of the party committee and director of the Bureau of Hydrology and Upstream, said that as of the evening of the 6th, the water from the Minjiang River and the Tuojiang River had all turned back to the present peak, and the water from the Jialing River Beibei and the Yangtze River Main Stream Inch Beach Station was also about to peak.
