On the evening of November 8, Beijing time, the 2021 season WTA 250 Linz station continued to compete for the first round of women's singles. China's little flower king Xinyu, who broke through from the qualifiers, fought hard in three sets to reverse the Ukrainian good Kozlova with a score of 2-6, 6-2, 6-3, and successfully advanced to the second round, and will challenge the new US Open champion and top seed Radukanu in the second round.

In the first set, Kozlova took the lead and broke twice in the third and fifth sets to take the lead 6-2;

In the decider, the two sides played more cautiously, without any chance of breaking in the first six sets, and the score alternately rose to 3-3 draws; then, Wang Xinyu improved his offensive stability, completed a key break in the eighth set, and won the next three sets in a row, locking in the victory with a score of 6-3, and the total score was 2-1 against Kozlova and successfully advanced to the second round.

In the other end games, Ujfank swept homegrown wild card Raus 6-1, 6-0; Tesulenko, who broke through in the qualifying round, defeated No. 5 seed Alexandernova 6-4, 7-6 (2), and lucky loser Christian reversed Rakhimova 2-6, 6-2, 7-5, all advancing to the second round.
