On the afternoon of October 18, 2018, in the office of President Sun of Hebei Foreign Chinese College, 5 young people were talking in fluent and euphemistic foreign languages, and when they inquired, they learned that they spoke Indonesian, and the 5 young people were actually Sun Wanting and 3 sophomores of the School of International Finance, Meng Jing'ao, Song Zehua, Zhang Yuying, and 1 first-year student Lu Hang. In just one year, the 3 students spoke Indonesian outside of their major so fluently, accumulating 2,000+ vocabulary, and couldn't help but wonder how they did it?
Professor Li Shaokun, founder of The Indonesian language of Hebei Foreign Chinese College, graduated from the Department of Oriental Languages of Peking University with a major in Indonesian, and after graduation, he worked as an Indonesian translator in the Translation Brigade of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with rich experience in Indonesian translation; Ms. Sun Wanting is a master's degree graduate who has studied Indonesian for 7 years and graduated from ElLanga University in Surabaya, Indonesia.
The three sophomores have successively studied under Professor Li and Teacher Sun, and the rigorous spirit and excellent language talent of the two generations of famous teachers have been well passed on to college students in the new era. They are practitioners of the section word pedagogy and beneficiaries of the natural learning of language. Students' solid Indonesian basic skills are not the traditional "listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation" teaching mode can be cultivated, Jing'ao introduction, we can not care about what grammar, sentence patterns, rhetoric, we are concerned about the use of morning and evening Pastry, class amateur and other time to learn 20 words a day, and now we have formed a daily life, transportation, weather, history, politics, economics and other sections, 2000+ Indonesian word manual. Proofreading the Indonesian version of the Analects translated by Professor Li and participating in the monthly small language competition held by the school have all helped us a lot in language learning. Our goal is to do simultaneous interpretation of foreign affairs activities of a professional nature at the national and international levels.
